Jeff Hardy's little "promo" at the beginning of Smackdown.

He should have ended it with "Undertaker, WHY SO SERIOUS?"

He needs to be Wellness tested pronto.

Xero 11-15-2008 12:35 PM

LOL, yeah, WTF. I saw that and immediately thought "why is Jeff Hardy ripping off Joker"...

Vince must have liked TDK.

Innovator 11-15-2008 12:37 PM

Jeff is making Smackdown awesome in the absence of Edge

Destor 11-15-2008 03:28 PM

Pics or vid?

Gerard 11-15-2008 03:49 PM

How longs he been wearing the glow in the dark facial jizz? I remember he used to eons ago, seems to have started using it again.

Splaya 11-15-2008 05:01 PM

Probably Hardy's best promo

I think that was the first time he's worn it recently, but props to Hardy for introducing darker shades to his character.

Are you kidding me? Vince probably wasn't aware there was a movie called The Dark Knight. Remember the whole "Pirate" Paul Burchill/Pirates of the Caribbean thing?

Johnny Vegas 11-15-2008 11:32 PM

Damn, that promo was pretty fuckin hot. Made Jeff look just a little bit more awesomer

Kalyx triaD 11-16-2008 12:20 AM

That was actually kinda awesome. Still not watching WWE, though.

Jeritron 11-16-2008 12:31 AM

That was okay. I highly doubt it's something permanent, rather just him playing spooky mindgames back with Taker

XL 11-16-2008 01:08 AM

TBF (Does that even stand for To Be Fair!?) Jeff has been pretty awesome recently on SmackDown. Which can only mean we're close to a Wellness Violation (Don't you think that would make a great name for a high impact finisher!?).

Shadow 11-16-2008 01:12 AM

Good lord does Jeff scare me at times.

I should start watching Smackdown again.

Fox 11-16-2008 01:31 AM

Hey Taker. How about a magic trick? I'm gonna make this pencil... disappear.

Jeritron 11-16-2008 01:38 AM

The real magic trick is how he's going to make his push dissapear.

Jeritron 11-16-2008 01:39 AM

It will amaze us all, and we won't be able to figure it out

Psh. If hitting a bong is magical, call me Merlin.

Mr. Nerfect 11-16-2008 01:58 AM

For some reason, I can see us being "swerved," and while the build seems to be leading towards a darker Jeff Hardy, Triple H turns heel and we get a babyface Hardy chasing the WWE Title.

What I wouldn't give for Extreme Enigma Jeff vs. Matt Hardy, though.

Mr. Nerfect 11-16-2008 02:00 AM

God, Taker is so fucking cheesy. Right down to the leotard.

Disturbed316 11-16-2008 05:06 PM

Looks like he's been playing Fable 2 too much.

therocksays 11-16-2008 05:36 PM

woah

Something like that needs to happen, as HHH is basically, more over than Jeff right now.

But I am liking this whole set up.

I can see Jeff winning the rumble right now, it's gearing up for a 'Benoit' style push where the authority figures are against the face

GD 11-17-2008 09:38 AM

I actually heard boos for Taker during the match. Jeff's top rope leg drop was pretty cool and suits his new dark side gimmick.

Triple Naitch 11-17-2008 11:34 AM

Hey Taker, let me tell you how I got these arm bands

Jeritron 11-17-2008 12:28 PM

Taker needs to start jobbing. It was understandable til now. He needs to job to Hardy or someone young, then win his last WM match again HBM and get on with it

BigDaddyCool 11-17-2008 12:49 PM

Taker does needs to give it up.

Jeritron 11-17-2008 12:54 PM

I was all for him a year ago. He still puts on great matches. Perhaps it's just the current smackdown climate but I feel theres not much left for him to do. It's finally getting tired to me.

I think a heel turn is in order. That would probably make me interested for another year or two, which is around when age should force him to go out while ahead

Triple Naitch 11-17-2008 12:54 PM

His knees are completely shot and you can tell by his face that it's getting harder for him every day. I wouldn't be surprised if this was his last Wrestlemania, but his self pride will probably prevent him from having a proper send off and will ultimately just wrestle until his knees fall off.

Fox 11-17-2008 01:00 PM

Jeff should start wearing a trench coat and repelling from the rafters with a lamp shade on his head.

Mr. Nerfect 11-18-2008 10:03 AM

I was reading a column somewhere that suggested The Undertaker move to RAW to freshen him up. I personally agree that he should be on RAW, but to be honest, it would only dely the staling of his character. I must say, the idea of an Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho feud makes me a little wet, though.

A heel turn for Taker would be very cool. Very hard to do, though. He'd need to start murdering children, or something.

I'm not the biggest Triple H fan in the world, but if he turned heel again, it would freshen him up pretty good. I mean, he was stale as fuck as a heel when he turned, but a fair bit of time has passed. It'd make a good story, too. The established and credible Triple H has trouble putting the young up-and-comer Jeff Hardy away, so he gets a sledgehammer and cracks it over young Jeffrey's skull. Instant intensifying of their feud. Could easily drag it into a WrestleMania match.

But I must say, SmackDown!'s main event scene is pretty interesting right now. Even Vladimir Kozlov is entertaining me, somewhat.

Let's hope that it doesn't have the same ending.

Anyway, that was pretty freaking awesome. The Hardy promo, I mean.

Hardy is 31, he is hardly a young man any more.

He was going to but I told him it was a bad idea.

He listens to me.
