Who would put on a better fight with Brock?
Brock did not dominate in his randy fight as much I thought he would he looked like he was wearing Brock down. If he faces Mir again I believe Mir would be facing a Different man who would not fall into a Submission so easily.
I have not seen Nogueira fight so I can't really say anything about him. |
He is going to fight the winner of Mir/Big Nog..
I'd like to see him fight Gonzaga though.. Gabe is a big guy, who is a powerful striker and awesome in BJJ.. That type of fighter (which describes Gonzaga, Mir, and Nog) would prolly be the biggest threat to Lesnars skills right now.. |
Well, the winner of Nog/Mir is going to be his next opponent. IMO, if Nog wins then Lesnar has some terrible odds.
Bah, Krispy beat me to it.
Nog can take a beating and still pull a win..
Savior, with your poll question, and this thread in general, do you even follow MMA?? |
Also, I'd like to see him face Chiek Kongo. I think Lesnar would take this but I'd like to see if he'd stand with him.
Kongo isn't big enough to stuff Brocks shot.. He is an excellent striker but I think Brock would be able to easily take him down and dominate on the ground..
Fedor said he'd be interested in a fight with Lesnar.. If lesnar beats the winner of Mir/Nog then I'd think Dana will push to get Fedor in there.. Prolly would fight Couture first, but he'd get a shot at the title with in 3 fights in UFC..
I completely agree but the way it seems that Brock has been training his stand-up lately, I'll bet he's soon going to be relying less on his wrestling. I wonder if he'd fight a standup fight with him.
I'd say if you really want a fight, let Lesnar have a year or so before unleasing Fedor on him. He's learning alot in such a short amount of time, I shudder to think how good he'll be in a year or two.
lightly yes, I can change the topic title.

this winter-Mir/Nog late spring-Lesnar/winner early summer-Fedor/Couture next fall-Fedor/Lesnar If they win those fights and whatnot.. |
That's probably assuming Lesnar beats Mir or Nog though. If Fedor comes in, he'll prob face Couture then whoever the champ is. I'm sure he'll fight Lesnar regardless eventually though.
Yeah, that's just how I see it playing out in my head..
Like Lesnar or not, the HW division is like 100x better than it was a year ago.. |
For sure.
I mean, if they go after guys like Fedor, Barnett, Arlovski, Rothwell, etc, it could be just as deep as LHW..
lol, Wow, did some research and this is what this TUF series is about. Don't get to watch to much TV. Still feel ashamed though.
Carwin/Lesnar would be great. 2 giant beasts and I think Carwin's standup is pretty comparable if not better than Lesnars.

Would love to see Chucky take on Lesnar myself.
What? Liddell?

I thought this was due to an injury?

Liddell Hughes St. Pierre ^ Favorite Fighters, so I would love to see Liddell beat his ass. |
If Liddell made HW, he would be around 225lbs.. He has a great sprawl but Lesnar would destroy him..
Fallen Angel, Chuck Liddell would not win that fight.
I never said I thought he WOULD win, I am saying I would love to see it. I think Chuck would hold his own at least.
Seriously I would never wish to know what a straight punch from Lesnar would feel like. |
LOL @ Fangle
Rampage would be cool. Are they in the same class though? I think Lesnar is above, right?
Nah. Rampage is in the Lightheavy division.
yea, I never know where anybody is. Probably need a quick weight class guide thread. lol
The UFC currently uses five weight classes:
Lightweight: 145 to 155 lb (67 to 70 kg) Welterweight: 156 to 170 lb (71 to 77 kg) Middleweight: 171 to 185 lb (78 to 84 kg) Light Heavyweight: 186 to 205 lb (85 to 93 kg) Heavyweight: 206 to 265 lb (94 to 120 kg) |
Or are you wanting a list of fighters in said weight classes?
If it's the latter that could be REALLY cool.
yea, the latter post
I think Big Nog will be a huge problem for Brock Lesnar.
Nog, Gabe, and Fedor.
