Prolly the best triple mainevent I can ever remember..

Nark Order 11-18-2008 03:29 PM

What a fucking ridiculous card.

El Fangel 11-18-2008 03:41 PM

That is fucking insane. Hopefully I can see it.

I am going to say

Evans - Round 2 - TKO
Mir - Goes to Decision
Silva - Round 3

Kris P Lettus 11-18-2008 03:44 PM

No way Nog/Mir goes to a decision.. Both of those guys are BJJ black belts.. Someone is gonna tap..

El Fangel 11-18-2008 04:24 PM

I think because they are BJJ Blackbelts, they would not get into a situation where they would tap, anyways just my opinion.

Kris P Lettus 11-18-2008 04:44 PM

Nog will make Mir tap..

guaranteed

Loose Cannon 11-18-2008 05:07 PM

Nice card. Looks a lot better then 91 all around to me at least. I hope Nog beats Mir, so we get Nog/Brock.

I'm all for Rampage/dickhead though

Destor 11-18-2008 05:10 PM

My money (as stated in the MMA thread) is on Nog.

I can't really decide on the Griffin/Evans fight. I want to say Griffin but Rashad has been quite the buzzkill lately.

Innovator 11-18-2008 07:03 PM

Nog, definitely

Innovator 11-18-2008 07:04 PM

That should be Rashad's new name, RASHAAAD "THE BUZZKILL" EVAAAAANS

I can hear Bruce Buffer now

Kris P Lettus 11-18-2008 07:04 PM

Nog
Griffin
Rampage

ROFL

Rob 11-18-2008 08:33 PM

Can't see Nog losing to Mir in any circumstance.

Evans can KO Griffin and obviously out wrestle him. I'm taking Griffin to win but this is the closest of the 3 fights.

Rampage is gonna muller Silva. Welcome to the world of fighting huge world class 205lbs when you aren't on steroids Wanderlai.

No way is any caucasian male named 'Forrest Griffin'

Rob 11-18-2008 08:42 PM

Never been to Alabama or Georgia then eh? :D

Loose Cannon 11-18-2008 08:53 PM

lol, how do you know about Alabama Rob? have you been to a few pig races and ho downs?

Rob 11-18-2008 09:10 PM

I used to date a chick from there.

Impact! 11-18-2008 10:13 PM

Forrest via Decision
Nog via Submission (Third round)
Wanderlei via TKO (Third Round)

Kris P Lettus 11-18-2008 10:22 PM

MISSISSIPPI REPRESENT

Confused 11-19-2008 03:46 AM

I hope Nog tears that fucking cunt Mir apart.

Rob 12-28-2008 12:02 AM

What did I tell you about Rampage? That's called "getting your wolf on" baby! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny Electric 12-28-2008 12:36 AM

So whats hapened so far?

Danny Electric 12-28-2008 12:43 AM

Who does Rob owe money too?

Rob 12-28-2008 12:52 AM

Should have been RP but he never took the bet.

Like I said in the other thread, Nog looked shot. Total shell of his former self. Credit to Mir but I honestly think it was more Nog looking awful than Mir looking great. Mir vs. Lesnar II is a bigger fight anyway for business.

Danny Electric 12-28-2008 01:00 AM

I think Brock looked worried when the camera cut to him at the end of that fight, or was that just me.

Rob 12-28-2008 01:30 AM

Just you.

Rashad Evans has some serious power. I think Rampage would still murder him though. Hopefully they do that fight in 9 weeks in London since that show is lacking a main event big time and Rampage will probably be main eventing it regardless now.

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-28-2008 02:41 AM

I think Rashad could still beat Rampage, he seems to find ways to get things done.

Vastardikai 12-28-2008 02:43 AM

Kongo takes a ball shot, returns the favor, then beats the dog shit out of Mustafa.

I was surprised by the outcome of Wand/'Page. But that's because I forgot that 1. Wand isn't as good as he used to be and 2. 'Page is better than he used to be.

Leg kicks are a bitch, right Emerson (do I have the right guy?)? Hamil is a fucking beast. And CB looked dominant using the GnP from the rear guard.

I didn't see Mir/Nogiera's finish coming. Neither did most people with common sense. Calling it now: Someone is gonna bitch about Herb Dean "stopping the fight early."

I told a friend of mine that Rashad Evans was bit by Arlovski. Sadly, I said Shad, and he thought I meant the guy from Cryme Tyme. I then explained that Evans had fangs. I felt Evans was gonna win. I knew it in the second round, when Forest's onslaught only got a "Suck my Dick" like reaction from 'Shad.

The Hardonk fight was kind of funny. I thought I was hearing Goldberg say "Hard-on was delivering repeated blows to the mouth."

Ol Dirty Dastard 12-28-2008 02:43 AM

Rampage merked Wandy's shit though. Some definite retribution for those 2 kos. It was early and emphatic.

You know, I'm sort of pissed about it... I'm torn honestly.. I do honestly think Herb Dean was quick to call it. I'm not saying Nog was going to get out of it, I'm just saying the ref should have given it a couple more seconds. I mean, Kongo and Evans pounded on their opponents when they were blatantly out of it a lot longer than Mir was on Nog, a guy known for being in that posistion.

With that said though, Mir figured Nog out, and he did have his number. He just kept rocking him and then making him stand back up, which was a brillant strategy...

Reavant 12-28-2008 03:43 AM

Well a hero of mine died tonight... RIP Silva!

NOW I HAVE TO LISTEN TO ANOTHER FUCKIN SIX MONTHS OF BROK LESNAR SAY FRANK MUUUUUR!

How the fuck was Herb Dean quick to end it? Noguiera got up and couldn't walk.

RP 12-28-2008 08:29 AM

I hope Mir destroys Lesnar

RP 12-28-2008 08:29 AM

Also, Rashad Evans is putting together a resume as good if not better then Fedor right now.
