TUF 8 Discussion..
 
*SPOILERS*

Below contains spoilers after TUF season 8 episode 10 (11/19/08).. For those who missed it, I'll have the video of this weeks episode up tomorrow in this post..

So, tonight was the tenth episode and after Roop beat John the following fights were announced for the semi final round:

Light Heavyweight bouts:
*Ryan Bader Vs Eliot Marshall
*Krzysztof Soszynski Vs Vinny Maghales

Lightweight bouts:
*Junie Browning Vs Efrain Escudero
*Phillipe Nover Vs George Roop

I'm taking Bader, Krzysztof, Efrain, and Nover..

Been a good season but what respect Mir had earned from me since he's been announcing for WEC he has lost this season of TUF.. He is like a half retarded little kid and most of his guys follow his dumb ass lead..

Was kind of sad to see John lose, he's such a likable guy. I do think it should've gone to a third round. It's also a little silly that laying on top of a guy or trapping a guy in a leg triangle for 2 minutes is more substantial in the judge's eyes than 4 dead on almost knock out shots to the face. I think they really need to tweak the way they score things. It seems that ground work outweighs strikes almost everytime with the judges. Roop may have won but unanimous?

Disappointed in Krystov and Bader looked kinda boring in that last fight, but I love Efrain and Nover..

Yeah, I'd prefer Krys over Vinny. I definitely see Vinny winning if Bader comes in with that fight plan.

I'd give the edge to Nover, just cause he's looked awesome so far

Yeah, Bader won't be able to lay on top of Vinny cause his JJ is so good.. I just don't like Vinny cause he is a prick..

That would have been one of the all time major Dana White fuck ups if Junie Browning won the semi final fight. Easy to say the right thing happened in the end but Jesse Taylor was kicked out last year for doing a hell of a lot less that Browning. Dana saying he doesn't wanna look to be favouring Junie is bollocks. He favoured him.

Yeah, Junie should have been gone like episode 2.. He did like ten times as much as any else who has been kicked off and wasn't even that impressive after that first fight.. He looked like shit in both the other fights..

Bollocks. It was Dana. Never has one person on this show made the sport look so bush league and Dana White is totally responsible for that now.

You realize show producers have more to say on what happens with the show than dana.... unless dana is a producer in which case your right... I just dont want to look up whether he is or not

He is. And Dana has final say on everything that goes on in the house. Just not 100% control of the editing and that might be why we didn't see people doing urine shots (because it happened).
