BREAKING WWE NEWS(spoilers)

angle is new gm on smackdown and hhh was traded back to raw for booker t and the dudleys! say goodbye to your push edge.

Loose Cannon 03-23-2004 08:47 PM

LOL, he's right. HAHA, I feel like it's baseball with these trades. Well now Orton can take down HHH. YESSSSSSS. And loopy, I guess the N.B.T. are done now. :(

The Naitch 03-23-2004 08:48 PM

edge will feud with Triple H, so atleast it's something, unless his ass gets buried, Booker T style

Boondock Saint 03-23-2004 08:48 PM

Yeah just read that. Interesting.

faust34 03-23-2004 08:51 PM

Sweet perhaps a Booker T heel turn and a proper RVD ME push. To bad about Edge he's next to be eating some dirt.

Kurt should have traded A-Train for a couple of the Doink midgets.

CBright7831 03-23-2004 09:02 PM

Wow, who saw this Angle GM thing coming?!?!?!?

OssMan 03-23-2004 09:04 PM

RICO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

faust34 03-23-2004 09:04 PM

Now it makes sense. This might be a bad sign for Kurt's wrestling career. :'( But, on the other hand, this means more backstage angle skits! :D

Not me, I hope it's a temporary thing.

WWE.com has learned that former WWE Champion Kurt Angle has accepted the job as SmackDown! General Manager.

In replacing Paul Heyman, Kurt Angle’s first order of business was to mold the SmackDown! roster to his liking. In an attempt to do so, Angle has completed two trades with RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff.

The first trade sends F.B.I. member Chuck Palumbo and A-Train to RAW for the combination of the sexy Miss Jackie and Rico.

The second trade is a blockbuster three-for-one deal. RAW’s Eric Bischoff has agreed to send the Dudley Boyz and Booker T to SmackDown! in exchange for former World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. This announcement comes straight off the heels of Triple H being chosen by SmackDown! in the draft lottery just 24 hours prior.

Being that Kurt cant wrestle anymore because of his neck itll at least keep him part of the WWE, kinda like Austin

Iceman90 03-23-2004 09:12 PM

It sucks that HHH is coming back to RAW. I hoped RAW had rid themselves of the evil once and for all.

Vega 03-23-2004 09:12 PM

Jesus christ no, Raw gets HHH back AND A-Train? shoot me now.

Austin had a pretty good run before his neck finally gave out. Too bad, Kurt was barely in his prime. I mean I know he will probably wrestle a bit in the future, but with all these reports of his neck being shot, they will probably decrease that as time passes. :(

HeartBreakMan2k 03-23-2004 09:19 PM

I still say bring back Shelton

CBright7831 03-23-2004 09:23 PM

Somewhere right now RVD is thanking God, while Edge is cursing God.

Corkscrewed 03-23-2004 09:33 PM

Well, no Palumbo means Natural Born Thrillers is probably out of question... but RAW just got screwed, LOL. HHH AND A-Train over? Wow. SD! just shored up its tag division a LOT, which is cool. Plus its mid-card has gotten really strong.

Hopefully, this is just a temporary role for Angle. He'll be GM for a couple of months while he gets some much needed rest and then comes back to wrestle later. Anyway, as long as he's healthy and on TV, I'm ecstatic.

Angle >> Stephanie

Funky Fly 03-23-2004 09:35 PM

I'm scared now.:'(

A-Train's back on the same show as Benoit.

They're setting up a de-push. Benoit always ends up feuding with A-Train after a de-push.

HHHsucks929 03-23-2004 09:42 PM

The whole point of Triple H feuding with Edge is to put Edge over, and Triple H doesn't seem to get that. Looks like Edge will be losing his push in a month's time...

Do explain your reasoning. :wtf:

El Santo 03-23-2004 09:55 PM

Drat. In a perverse way, I wanted to see what HHH would have done on Smackdown. A Hunter/Cena feud would've been fun to watch.

Hmmmm... how about a heel Booker T with Theodore Long as manager?

Volchok 03-23-2004 09:56 PM

anyone else think those trades where stupid?

or a heel RVD with HEYMAN. I think he can actually get over as a heel that way and even go to the top.

i fear him turning into austin

Evil Vito 03-23-2004 11:12 PM

<font color=goldenrod>I think they should've traded either Tajiri, Hurricane, Hardy, or possibly even Johnny Spade to Smackdown solely to help the Cruiserweight division.</font>

Triple H is going to build up Edge as a mian event player in a big feud that leads to their big PPV match... Where Triple H wins in the worst way possible, effectivel dimisnishing fan interest significantly and halting his push. The same thing happened with RVD and Booker T. Thank the lord they're on Smackdown! now.

Triple H just doesn't get it.

Rock Bottom 03-23-2004 11:27 PM

WWE needs to make up their mind... And I bet Triple H whined and complained to get sent back to RAW. Why they would announce him going to SmackDown!, then, the next night, have him sent back, reeks of total "BUAHHHHHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHH DADDY WAHHHHHHHHH" type crap.

KingofOldSchool 03-23-2004 11:35 PM

It's funny that it took Booker T and The Dudley's to get Triple H back on Smackdown.

Well, after splitting up damn near every tag team, looks like most of them are on SmackDown! now. And Booker going makes sense, since RVD did, and they just dropped their gold to Flair and Batista.

But my question is, who the fuc</>k are Flair and Batista gonna compete with over them? No La Resistance. No Cade and Jindrak. No Dudleyz. No Booker and RVD. Wow. I guess they should just fight each other, and the winner gets both belts or something.

Rock Bottom 03-23-2004 11:40 PM

WWE is stupid sometimes.

AareDub 03-23-2004 11:41 PM

I can't believe that WGTT is still broken up after the trade :(

I don't think they ever really planned on keeping HHH on smackdown, they just did that so people would take this joke of a lottery thing seriously.

I'm have a really really really bad feeling that they are going to take A-Train and Mark Henry and pull a Test/Steiner. Make them a team, then make them feud, then just keep going until everybody stops watching.

Iceman90 03-23-2004 11:41 PM

I would like to see Booker T vs. RVD in a feud

or both men turn heel

ilt_undertaker 03-23-2004 11:42 PM

<font color=Silver>I cant see RVD as a heel now (IMO)</font>

6to1 03-23-2004 11:45 PM

and booker sucks as a heel, maby teddy long can help him as a heel

What do you mean?

All three don't even equal to ONE Triple H... And they've even slept with Stephanie!

what they should do is retire those tag team belts and bring back the tv belt

Iceman90 03-23-2004 11:49 PM

Here is what I would like to see from all the tradees:

Triple H vs. Edge (or if the opponent is going to be buried, then HHH vs. Steven Richards)

Chuck Palumbo vs. Garrison Cade

Batista vs. A-Train

Dudley Boyz (face) vs. The Bashams

Booker T (heel) vs. Bradshaw

RVD (heel) vs. Billy Kidman

The Icon of Elisim 03-24-2004 12:01 AM

The trades look good to me. I'm not going to judge why Triple H got traded till I see Smackdown, I'm guessing that there is an angle to be played off.

I personally like that all the tag teams are on one show. I would've rathered that they unified the two tag team titles but this pretty obviously means that Flair and Batista are retiring the belts.
