Whos the best "evil" manager?

So I was watching some old Undertaker and Kevin Sullivan matches and I was wondering who do you think is the best kinda Evil, Dark manager The Taskmaster, Father Mitchell or Paul Bearer?

James Vandenberg/ Father Mitchel/ Sinister Minister- It's wierd he's the least known of the three of the managers but he had sprints in WCW ECW and TNA. He kinda started with masked Wrath & Mortis, then moved on to The Unholy Union in ECW, and finally became James Mitchel with The New Church in early TNA, then Abyss, and finally Judas Mesias.

The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan- I always liked The Taskmaster gimmick from Kevin more than the Varsity club or any of his others. He is by far the most accomplished wrestler of the three and as the leader of the Dungeon of Doom, he's my pick.

Paul Bearer- Ah the man probibly best know from bringing the Undertaker to the main stream. He was soo creepy lookin with the pale face, dark suits and 6 chins. He had plenty of "evil" character's he managed from Mankind, the Executioner, Kane, The man they call Vader and of course The Undertaker. He also was the manager of the Ministy of Darkness.

So who was the best Dark kinda evil manager? Was the Dungeon of Doom better than the Deciples of the New Church or was the Ministy of Darkness better than both?

James Mitchell has that shit down.

Ya know.... much loves to James Vandenberg, and hardcore respect to Kevin Sullivan.... Paul Bearer, hands down.
Would Jimmy Hart be as iconic as he is if he would have managed Barry Horowitz? What if the Taskmaster was stuck with Chuck & Billy? The people that Paul Bearer as an "evil" persona worked with him. So with the world "evil" is there, it's Uncle Paul.

Kevin Sullivan, because he was the "evil" manager before wrestling knew what true "evil" was. Hell, he brought the Dark/Satanic gimmick to wrestling.

Even before his run as the Taskmaster, he was the head of the Slaughterhouse, which included a young unknown by the name of Cactus Jack. And, before that, there was the Army of Darkness in Florida. Without Sullivan, we would never have heard of James Vandenburg, and Paul Bearer would still be Percy Pringle III.

Mr. Fuji

KoOS has a good point. You forgot the Devious One.

Anybody Thrilla 12-10-2008 08:55 PM

Easily Mr. Fuji. Fuck this poll.

He was the leader of the Dungeon of Doom!

I can never buy Mitchell as actually evil. He reminds me too much of whiny pussy goth kids I knew in high school who claimed to worship the devil and insisted they be called "Reverend."

Anybody Thrilla 12-11-2008 11:19 AM

I think James Mitchell is far from entertaining and I always have. The only times any of those occult gimmicks ever did anything for me at all were evil Undertaker and The Brood, if you even want to count them.

I hate James Mitchell. I liked Paul Bearer and Taker, he was just perfect. Never saw Kevin Sullivan.

Gertner 12-11-2008 01:09 PM

Sullivan

Where is Jackel? He sucked and all as an evil manager, but he deserves a mention.

parkmania 12-11-2008 05:52 PM

Fuji wins.

Mitchell gets second.

Paul Bearer wasn't event creepy when Taker was a face, and Sullivan was just IMHO godawful in a comical sense with the Dungeon of Doom. I thought the DoD walked straight out of the Sunday Funnies.

Who could forget his imfamous turn on Demolition at the Survivor Series?

Heyman 12-12-2008 10:42 PM

What about Paul Heyman? I always felt that he was EXCELLENT alongside Brock Lesnar. He wasn't dark as in being 'goth' or whatever, but he played the 'sleazy asshole' better than anyone.

If Shane McMahon counts, I would also give him a mention.
