WWE SmackDown Taping Results (12/12) *Spoilers*

Quote:

Dark Match:
* Kizarny b. Jamie Noble
- Kizarny controlled most of the match and got the win via pinfall.

SmackDown: (Airing Friday)
* SmackDown opens with Triple H in the ring as if he's ready for a match. Jeff Hardy comes from behind and attacks him. They fight on the outside. Referees rush the ring and pull the two apart. Chavo Guerrero and Vickie also come to ringside.

* R-Truth b. MVP
- R-Truth enters through the crowd. MVP loses to R-Truth after he hits a sunset flip followed by a pinfall. After the match MVP complains about his losing streak. Ken Kennedy comes out and makes fun of MVP. Kennedy plugs his DVD while MVP’s mic gets cut off.

* The Bella Twins are shown backstage with The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick tries to puts his arm around them and they reject him. Carlito and Primo Colon show up. Kendrick backs down.

* Primo Colon w/Carlito b. The Brian Kendrick w/Ezekiel Jackson
- Lots of back and forth action. Carlito and Ezekiel battle on the outside throughout the match. Primo gets the win with the small package followed by a rollup.

* Hurricane Helms b. Shelton Benjamin in a non-title match.
- Solid match with lots of back and forth action. Shelton works on Helms neck throughout the match. Helms did a high cross body off the top rope and Shelton attempts to reverse. He fails and Helms lands on top of him for the three count.

* The Cutting Edge with Matt Hardy is up next. They argue about who caused Jeff Hardy to miss his Championship match at Survivor Series. Edge says it was Triple H while Matt blames Edge. Vladimir Kozlov comes out to end the segment.

* The Great Khali b. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder in a handicap match.
- Short match. Khali gets then win with a Khali chop on Ryder and a choke bomb on Hawkins.

* Eve interviews Triple H backstage.

* The Bella Twins b. Natalya & Maryse
- Typical divas tag match. One of the Bella Twins get the win via pinfall on Natalya.

* Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy
- The crowd is really into the match mostly behind Hardy. Good wrestling match with lots of near falls. The match ends in disqualification when Edge comes out and spears Hunter and then Hardy. SmackDown goes off the air with Hunter and Hardy both laid out in the ring and Edge walking to the back with his WWE Championship belt.

MVP and Shelton Benjamin jobbed on the same show. Khali over 2 guys. Think i'll pass this week.

Juan 12-10-2008 01:06 AM

I'm actually looking forward to that Helms/Benjamin match.

KYR 12-10-2008 01:09 AM

Wow. This looks really...lame.

RGWhat316 12-10-2008 01:10 AM

I'll probably still watch, mainly for the HHH/Harvey stuff, but I agree completely with Fabien.

Yeah, but you will find that and post it for me without me having to watch the rest of it. :y:

Kinda makes me glad I don't have Sky Sports any more.

Evil Vito 12-10-2008 08:18 AM

<font color=goldenrod>I was there, real good seats. I thought it was a great show, but then again...shows always seem a million times better if you're there live.

Best part of the divas tag match was these guys behind me screaming for Natalya the whole match until she finally acknowledged them before getting tagged in.

I also wonder when the fuck Kizarny is gonna debut. He looks even more like Captain Jack Sparrow than Burchill did.</font>

Dave Youell 12-10-2008 08:18 AM

You know that Edge isn't going to drop the title, but it's good to see that Hardy was more over than HHH

Evil Vito 12-10-2008 10:12 AM

<font color=goldenrod>Didn't notice it upon first reading...but I'm not sure what show this guy was watching as The Brian Kendrick defeated Primo after a distraction. Carlito got knocked into the steps by Zeke.

Also, strangely...as the Colons left, someone said something to Carlito causing him to flip the fan off.</font>

Gertner 12-10-2008 11:31 AM

not a bad show there. Might actually watch it.

KingofOldSchool 12-10-2008 12:17 PM

I'm surprised nothing happened to follow up McCool's heel turn from last week.

Fabien Barthez 12-10-2008 12:26 PM

How could they possibly fit that in when they have Khali, who has no fued right now, to squash 2 nobodies?

Kinda surprised at that too, since according to Michelle, she should be the focal point of the show.

Mr. Nerfect 12-11-2008 03:13 AM

Hurricane Helms, Shelton Benjamin, The Brian Kendrick, Primo Colon, MVP, Matt Hardy, Edge, Triple H, Jeff Hardy and the Divas (yes, I mean that last one seriously) will make this show surprisingly awesome.

They might have some kind of follow-up to the Divas thing with a pre-taped promo, or something. I've got to mark out for Hurricane Helms kicking R-Truth out of what was seemingly his role of being the next US Champion. Nothing against R-Truth, or anything, I just like Helms better. :D

Evil Vito 12-12-2008 02:00 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Watching SD on Youtube, they've apparently added in a promo for a new Fallen Angle type of gimmick to be played by Hade Vansen.</font>

I haven't seen that yet, but just reading it makes me excited. Vansen is pretty good from what I've seen. Plus, I love gimmicks like "The Fallen Angel."

It'll be interesting to see where "Hades" Vansen goes.

thedamndest 12-12-2008 08:31 PM

He said something like "I've followed the dark arts for a decade now, and I'm finally ready to let loose through the black arts of professional wrestling! This is nothing like the Undertaker, Mideon, Viscera, Gangrel, The Brood, The New Brood, or that all blond guy who became Kevin Thorne!

thedamndest 12-12-2008 08:56 PM

I like Helms' new hair and beard, but Jesus does he look like a douche with that Helms tattoo on his back. He probably had to get it to reach an appropriate level of douchey to nail Velvet Sky, so I can understand that.

Didn't you already prove that when you paid him that AU$3 for mowing you lawns?? :D

Juan 12-12-2008 09:09 PM

Yeah, but AU$3 includes mowing his wife's lawn too :naughty:

DaVe 12-12-2008 09:11 PM

Can someone explain the whole 'Fallen Angel' gimmick? I did a quick look on Wikipedia and I understand that he doesn't shake hands... anything else?

thedamndest 12-12-2008 09:26 PM

Bets on if the Bella twins start a lesbian angle?

RGWhat316 12-12-2008 09:34 PM

Kinda odd that most of the entrances have been cut on this show. Even HHH's to start which is kind of surprising.

GD 12-13-2008 08:44 AM

We used to get wwe 2 weeks delayed but know we get it on fridays 15 hours prior to USA. I am just saying. Helms looked bigger but the finish was very lame.

Gertner 12-13-2008 01:50 PM

Ugh The Bella Twins go over my beloved Maryse.
