Title change at house show tonight
 

While I'm glad Miz/Morrison got the nod, I can't help but be disappointed with Punk/Kingston's run as World Tag champs.

They never defended their titles on TV and as far as I can remember, they only tagged once after winning the titles.

They will probably win them back at the next house show, or give a quick build up to a rematch for the titles on RAW.

I hope that M&M keep the titles. I'm not a huge fan of tag teams but if they're going to have tag titles they should be on real teams or at least defended.

I guess they won the World Tag Team Championships...eh?

It makes sense that they did this switch. The WWE didn't really space things out as well as they wanted to with CM Punk & Kofi Kingston, I think. They have plans to have Punk and Regal feud, I think, but with things being sent into motion with that, they didn't really have time to do the switch to John Morrison & The Miz.

They probably could have waited to do the switch on the RAW after Armageddon, with Regal helping Morrison & Miz win after Punk has been named #1 Contender, but I guess they set themselves a deadline with Punk & Kofi that they couldn't keep.

House shows getting a title change here and there occasionally keeps them interesting, too.

Some good things have come out of title changes at house shows.

First thing that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread.

I am glad Miz and Morrison will do the obnoxious slammy winner schtick.

Those are actually really stylish and effective pictures. I love that John Morrison & The Miz have got their attire on the same page. They are the best choice for World Tag Team Champions right now.

John Morrison is going to one day hold every single championship in the WWE, I believe. He's already got four down, with only three to go. He just needs to win the US Title, World Heavyweight Title and WWE Title, and with as fast as he is improving and getting himself on the rise, I think it is very likely he could knock it out. Then he'll have a reason to gloat.
