Better Wrestler #49

Better Wrestler surprises me again as for the THIRD time in a row I thought our we had a Hall of Famer LOCKED and yet we continue. KRT FREAK'N ANGLE. First Flair, then HBM, and then The Rock. But here we are now with one heck of a champion.

Is Kurt the man who can finally do it? We'll see, his challenge starts today:

VS

3 days.

What Would Kevin Do? 12-14-2008 02:45 PM

Angle, easily. Shamrock doesn't come close to him on the mic or in the ring. Shamrock was more or less a gimmick in himself, that never went anywhere (I'm a former MMA fighter, I must be a badass.)

CSL 12-14-2008 02:45 PM

Shamrock was fun and everything but Kurt Angle in every conceivable way

Xero 12-14-2008 02:49 PM

I think Angle is going to be pretty easy to topple, unfortunately.

That said, I'm pretty sure I'll be with him all the way. :y:

I am going to suggest that people can recontend after 20 rounds, otherwise your just going to have total blowouts because the contenders who could actually contend against Kurt Angle arent available for another 40+ rounds.

Tazz Dan 12-14-2008 03:24 PM

*swallows pride*

I agree with FAngel

Juan 12-14-2008 03:26 PM

Even though Shamrock first brought us the Ankle Lock, Angle gets my vote.

No, every 50 is the set number. This might be reviewed at better wrestler 100. We will see.

Lock Jaw 12-14-2008 03:51 PM

Kurt Angle, easily. I like Shamrock, but I honestly can't think of anybody short of Ric Flair who I would give the nod over Kurt Angle. Angle is the real deal.

Just a suggestion man. To be fair tell me one person available that has a snowMANS not BALL's chance in hell of winning against Kurt.

Angle. Shamrock went exactly as far as he could have in the WWE, and though he's probably been gone long enough that he could come back for a BRIEF nostalgia run, his lack of mic skill/charisma was always limiting. He was too one dimensional in his MMA-style matches. I know that was his entire gimmick, but it's always good to be able to do more.

All true. Shamrock had strengths but Angle was/is a complete package. Also, anyone who beat The Rock MUST deserve his place in the HoF.

KingofOldSchool 12-14-2008 07:03 PM

lol Taz

Nowhere Man 12-14-2008 08:34 PM

Definitely Angle. Ken wasn't bad, really, but even now that he's all worn-down and crazy Angle's better in the ring and on the mic.

There's a few really. We're at 49 too...

BigDaddyCool 12-15-2008 03:05 PM

I voted shamrock cause I always liked him.

The Franchise 12-15-2008 09:06 PM

Might have missed this, what's Bret's deal?

Impeccable 12-16-2008 07:28 AM

Angle.

Shamrock was entertaining, but he left at the right time.

Angle is...well...Angle.

BW had taken a hiatus so to celibrate it's return we allowed him to return as well.

thedamndest 12-16-2008 03:12 PM

I'm watching Superbrawl Revenge (I think) right now. Lance Storm is the WCW commissioner; he could have been the next (though I guess technically first) Kurt Angle.

The Franchise 12-17-2008 04:16 PM

36-5? lol

Ken ShamROCKED. :shifty:
