I can EXCLUSIVELY report that Tomko and WWE will likely be parting ways in the near future.

The latest update I can give you is that Tomko was told by WWE officials that they were going to be putting him in a full body suit/mask so that fans would not know he was Tomko upon his return to the company.

According to my sources, Tomko refused to do the gimmick if he was not able to be himself. Tomko feels he’s worked extremely hard to build up his current character and felt that a mask gimmick would not fit him right now.

Tomko has asked for his release from the company and it’ll likely be given in the near future.

I would have thought that this sort of thing would have been discussed and agreed upon prior to him signing with WWE.

Surely he would've asked the question:

"OK, what plans do you have for me when I return?".

If he didn't - more fool him.

Let's just hope the suit wasn't as pricey as the Max Moon suit

"Hey Tomko, we want you to wear a full bodysuit and mask!"

Tomko: "No." *walks out door*

It's Ryan Clark. This may as well say Tomko is from the Moon and lives in a base made of old wrestling gear.

The fact that this guy put "exclusively" in all caps makes me just a tad bit suspicious.

"Exclusively" for Ryan Clark means "no one else has such miniscule credibility to write this garbage".

That could apply not only to Tomko but one R. Clark as well.

A full body suit would definitely need to be worn so that I would not know it was Tomko. I'd know those legs anywhere.

Honestly, while I doubt this is true, I don't see the benefit of it. Why would the WWE not want the fans to know it was Tomko? He got a pretty good reaction during his dark match against Paul "I'm back to generic red trunks" Burchill. Why cut that off? Oh right, because heaven knows we can't have guys being successful.

I've also heard (more reliably) that Tomko is rumoured to have a hurt pectoral muscle, and that many believe he has been working through it, which is why his match against Burchill didn't impress Vince McMahon, and why he seems to be a little out of shape (it would limit his work out).

How is Ryan Clark supposed to report on Tomko's nip slip if he's wearing a full body suit?

I've heard/read that he tore his pectoral. Either way, that would severely limit a man's wrestling ability. I think it's ridiculous on both sides. Ridiculous for Tomko not to tell management that he is hurt, and ridiculous of WWE to want to put Tomko in a fucking full body suit.

If he really gets released, I will be so pissed. They keep guys like Mizark and that fucking leprechaun, but they can't stick with guys like Tomko who can actually wrestle? Fucking hell, man.

I can sort of understand why Tomko wouldn't tell the WWE about his injury. If he thought he could work through it, then why wait until he is healthy to sign with the WWE? I mean, if he's going to heal up, get into shape, etc. before he signs, while he will look better when he turns up for work, it will take time that signing with the WWE now could have avoided.

Another thing is that guys get praised endlessly when they work through injuries. They look tougher, and more dedicated to putting on a show. Tomko might have felt that if he worked through it, the WWE would be proud of him.

I'm hoping that this release talk is just so they can have Tomko turn up with Christian on WWE TV, and people will be surprised. Why put him in a dark match, anyway? To see how he tested with crowds, and whether or not a face Tyson Tomko would work in the WWE. Evidently, it seems to have potential.

Ryan Clark is the only guy I've ever seen who could post 2 completely different untrue stories back to back about the same situation. Then he is like 'well, i'm going to get in touch with Tomko's people to get the truth here'

And they would reveal the truth to some nobody who has no reputation or standing in wrestling? If Meltzer, who is a tool, doesn't know or hasn't been told... Ryan ' X-CLOOSIVE VID OF HOGAN JACKING INTO BRET HARTS EYE!' Clark has no chance.


Can't we just get someone who already posts here to rip off other websites and post the news section?
