Firefox fucked
 

My Firefox randomly gets an error message where I have to either select 'retry' or 'abort' and then no matter what I choose, it just aborts. The browser shuts down and then when I re-open it I am given the option of restoring the previous tasks or starting fresh. I can successfully restore but it's still annoying because it happens a bunch of times a day. I downloaded the newest update that claimed it fixed ALL the bugs, but this is still happening for me. I dunno, it's not a big deal but it's frustrating after a while. It's not an error that pops up on Firefox, it's actually a windows error. I honestly don't remember what one it was but it doesn't seem to ever happen on IE or Opera.

Anyone have any idea what to do?

Have you just plain reinstalled it? Use an add-on like foxmarks to back-up your bookmarks, and then just reinstall firefox and retrieve your bookmarks once you get it going again.

Yup that's Firefox, it's shit unless you spend endless hours "tweaking' it with a multitude of plug-ins.

Weird, I had the same issue today, but it was because I was using a program to download redtube videos and it wasn't compatible I guess. I'm good now though.

Oh and, do what Requiem said. It'll take you 10 min to reinstall with all your add-ons and shit, plus it'll be clean.

I have a whopping three add-ons in my firefox, that took a whopping five minutes to download and set up. My Firefox works amazingly, and I have never had issues.
