What do you use to list all the movies you have.

We recently ditched all of the hard cases, and threw all the DVDs into disc wallets. Now, I need to make a list of them using one of the many online collection things. I have like 900 DVDs, so I want to get it right the first time. What do you use, or what do you prefer.

Get a pencil. Then a few pieces of paper. Get to work.

Then make a text file on your comp. At some point you're gonna have to write/type all those titles down.

I used to use DVDAficianado but they changed their layout a few years ago and it sucked so I switched to DVDSpot. It was good by they shut down in October. Now I use nothing.

I have looked into this before and apparently the best thing for this is a program called DVD Profiler.

Or you might just be able to DL a torrent here if it works: http://isohunt.com/download/54126549...ofiler.torrent

That is kinda stupid to ditch your hard cases though. I guess it saves space but I love DVD cases.

Yah. I wanna get a huge shelf and fill it up with DVD's and just look at it and take pictures and show it off.

That is what I downloaded last night. Works good so far. I looked up lots of reviews, and people said that was the best.

I love cases too, but when you have a thousand of them, and nowhere to put them... Which sucks because we just replaced all the regular ones with 7mm slim ones, so now with have like 900 regular and 900 slim cases that no one wants to buy off of craig's list.

I had one, I think I posted a pic of it. It was nice to show off, but I use to live in a black neighborhood and I was scared people would look in my windows and see it, then get ideas.

Thanks, I can't begin to tell you how much you've helped.

Jeez...I wish I had the time or the inclination to list all my DVDs.

TBH, I think I could, it's managing whether they get put back in the right place that would become a bitch.

It's not so much that, it's the fact that once they are stored away in wallets, you forget what you have.
