I'm from Rotherham (as mentioned in the song Fake Tales of San Francisco on their first album "Whatever People say I am, That's What I'm Not") so I pretty much have the same dialect and all their local slang makes sense to me.

What are you having problems with? Maybe I can lend a hand.

I never understood how they got so big so quickly.

I don't mind them, they are alright I guess.

You can't understand anything they say because they are Notherners, no one can understand them
