Super Mario Bros 3 question

I remember when I was a kid if you did not beat the game right you would get stuck at a pause screen right after you killed bowser.

Did this ever happen to anyone else?

only got stuck in a weird glitch after kneeling on the block before satan for 6 seconds in world 1-3

never heard of it

and i did the last fight millions of times just fucking around, doing stuff like making him destroy all the bricks.

did you go in the upper room to face him or the lower?.....i dunno maybe my brother was just messing with me
