We have been getting email for the past half hour or so about web reports that state Christian Cage is at Raw. Here is what we know.

Around 5 p.m., we (all of us at the site) got an email from someone we don't know named Scott Williams that said:

"we are outside the building for tonight's Raw and Christian Cage has arrived at the venue in a rental car with it looked like Val Venus, I really couldn't tell who was driving, but Christian waived at all of us."

We called sources at the show, who told us that Jeff Hardy was there (which Mike Johnson reported) but we could not confirm that Christian was there. Since we could not confirm it, we didn't report it.

About an hour later, I found out that a regular correspondent at the site had been sent the same email, so obviously Scott Williams is informing everyone he can find in the wrestling media of this. That is the scoop as we know it.

Could go either way. If he's debuting tonight they may be keeping it "hush hush" and rushed he and Val through a secret passage and stuffed them under the ring.

What Christian waived them of, I don't know.

So, why in the hell would Val Venis and Christian be together?
BTW, Val Venis is what kept Heat and Velocity going, he was one of the few in WWE that had JOB SECURITY... No Hearing "Good luck in Your Future Endeavors" for that man, unlike Stevie Richards. (Relating Back to the Good luck... Thread from earlier)

I know this has now been shown to be false. But if Christian supposedly was there, would he really have waved to fans? Given he hasn't yet been announced yet, they would have brought him into the building for him to get out of the car.

I believe Val and Christian are good friends. Also, Edge used to bone Val's sister.

But apparently there was no truth to Christian being at the show.

I loved the Val Venus and Edge road story posted long ago on wwe.com.

I figured that WWE had offered Christian a personal driver as a sweetner to get him to sign. Enter...Val Venis.
