TD sells both.

He'd be THE man to ask (but VC is right p>i).

RoXer 01-06-2009 06:47 PM

And now you know!

All hail the tech forum!

thedamndest 01-07-2009 05:22 PM

How soon and by how much can I expect the prices of these to drop? Feel free to cite something legitimate or to speak hypothetically. I will take the word of the tech forum as gospel. Anybody that uses the phrase, "go down faster than Destor for a Big Buford" will earn two reps.

Requiem 01-07-2009 05:26 PM

The prices of both are expected to go down faster than Destor for a Big Buford.

thedamndest 01-07-2009 05:33 PM

WOW! I can't wait to pick one up!

Maybe I'll think about getting one of those tv's too.

Watch out, he'll try and stitch you up with an extended warrenty and get you to finance it (or worse FlexiRent).

thedamndest 01-07-2009 08:05 PM

Was hoping to get some real answers worked in with the Destor answer...

Vietnamese Crippler 01-07-2009 08:17 PM

Prices are actually pretty low right now, it just depends on how much you care about what brand you're buying.

TVs from Sony, Toshiba, etc. are going to be pretty damn expensive, but sets from Vizio are comparably cheaper.

I can see prices dropping soon, but then again, prices will drop again soon after that, leaving you in a never ending cycle of waiting until the price will get to its absolute lowest.
