I got one.

Thiago Silva will be the Lightheavyweight champion when 2010 starts. He's gunna murder Machida. I'm telling you right now. Everyone talks about Machida's defense and how boring he is. I dont think Thiago Silva is gunna respect him at all and he might possibly KO him in the first round.

Then he'll face either Evans or Rampage. If he faces Evans, he'll murder him too. If he faces Rampage, it will be one hell of a fight.

very possible. Silva is a dangerous dude. he's good under pressure and he has vicious ground and pound.

that sounds like an emotional sentiment coming from you, friend. first of all, for Silva or anyone else to step into the cage with Machida "not respecting him at all" would be pretty stupid. and i think what everyone is saying is that style/skill set-wise, the odds favor Machida in this.

ya know what - FUCK THAT! i've been listening to people talk about how Rashad Evans is gonna get murdered for years now. everybody said Liddell was going to squash him - and honestly, as a Rashad Evans fan, i did not like the odds going in, based on their styles. then people immediately concluded that Forrest Griffin was going to "murder" Evans - which is ridiculous, because IMO, style/skill set-wise, that fight favored Evans in a big way.

i think that Thiago Silva would definitely have better odds against Rampage than against Rashad. Rashad and Rampage are good strikers. Rashad is more of an elusive striker. Rampage doesnt seem to like the ground game which is where Thiago Silvas strength is.

Either way, Thiago Silva is a tough opponent - i'm definitely not disputing that. he's one of my favorites.

Rampage will be the next LHW Champ..

i think Rashad Evans will be successful in (at least) his first title defense.

This is a bold prediction but I say Brock Lesnar will retain his belt walking all the way into 2010. This of course depends on his opponents but I see him taking Mir out this time around and unless they pull someone ridiculously good then I thin he can do it. Never know though because Gonzaga might be in line for a title shot soon.

He will also topple Lesnar :D

Shane Carwin is the worst. He'll get owned by someone who can do more then just punch. And he's definitly 20x more horrible without the steroids.

more then half of Carwins wins came on steroids. And he hasnt beaten anyone special at all. I wouldnt be suprised if he gets tapped in about 2 minutes.

I mean honestly am i wrong? Can you name one decent fighter he's beaten? If he beats Gonzaga, i'll step off a bit, but until i see that, he's not that special and theres no reason to think he will be really.

Its not like hes shown any weaknesses in any of his fights what so ever though. Hes won with strikes, ground and pound, and submissions and he hasnt had one fight go past the first round. Im not saying hes a god, but I just dont really understand the hate I guess. Hes working his way up, its not like hes getting a title shot.

And a lot of pro fighters take supliments that you might consider unethical, even ones you wouldnt think of, and im not saying its right or the thing to do, but harping on one guy about it is kind of dumb.
