thedamndest 01-28-2009 04:54 PM

Looks like Superman.

mitchables 01-31-2009 01:13 AM

LOL :$ I couldn't watch it once he started singing. Like after hearing his speaking voice, he is absolutely putting that voice on. There's no way that's his natural singing voice.

The Destroyer 01-31-2009 08:47 AM

He has a fine career ahead of him as the frontman of a generic American rock band of the type my mum loves.

He's trying to sing like the Breaking Benjamin guy who has a fucked up voice to begin with.

mitchables 01-31-2009 07:52 PM

Well that's just stupid. If you're going to cover a song, at least give it a unique spin. I have never seen a covers band play with a vocalist who changes their voice between each song to try and match the original's.

You're stupid.

Requiem 02-02-2009 12:20 PM

This doesn't do much for your 'music cred' that you care so much about. I don't know what you were expecting from TPWW when you posted that video, except criticism.

Bad Company's video on the other hand.. :y::y:

Penner 02-02-2009 01:32 PM

I was just joking stop being so "holier-than-thou". You're not Kane Knight.

Requiem 02-02-2009 01:37 PM

You can say you were joking all you want to try saving face, but it won't make it true.

Penner 02-02-2009 02:03 PM

It was one of those "Well that's just stupid" -> "..you're stupid" comebacks. It wasn't meant to be witty or clever. I had nothing to say, I agree with what Mitch said.

Requiem 02-02-2009 02:29 PM

That's not what I was talking about at all, in either reply.

Requiem 02-02-2009 02:32 PM

On that note though, you can't just assume people know you agree with someone when posting a sarcastic comment. Knowing your track record, it certainly didn't sound like even a sarcastic 'i agree'.

Just do a Youtube search for Boyce Avenue.

NeanderCarl 02-02-2009 10:25 PM

Which is the better cover of Umbrella?

Boyce Avenue?

Or the Manic Street Preachers

I don't care.

Tornado 02-10-2009 06:09 PM

The Manic Street Preachers cover of Umbrella is excellent, would much rather listen to it than the original.
