So I watched Royal Rumble
Basically this is the first time I've seen anything WWE related in a long time - so I'm not up to speed with a lot of things. A few of my observations:
- JR is really starting to sound like Vince McMahon's old commentary voice for some reason. You can still hear his distinct accent a lot of the time but there were large patches of commentary when I could easily have convinced myself that it were Vince if I didn't know better - I thought Vampiro was now in the WWE, turns out it is Jeff Hardy - The Royal Rumble appeared highly innovative. May just be me, the last time I saw one was a while back but some of the stuff going on seemed quite fresh. A lot of good spots and I'm not afraid to say - I enjoyed Rey Mysterio using the bodies of people (Miz and Morrison?) to keep himself in the Rumble when he was thrown over the top. - Randy Orton has come on leaps and bounds. Maybe just his momentum but the last time I saw him he was being forced as a main event threat now he is totally convincing Overall it seemed to me that the WWE had a whole lot of good going on. Made me want to watch Raw and although I don't get the channels that show WWE, I'm looking about to see if I can catch it online somewhere. |

It has improved lately,but that maybe cause wrestlemania is just around the corner.

I think it has improved because of the actaul wrestlers going into it. I mean the average wieght of the wrestlers involved has dropped, and the atheletic ability has improved. So they can actaully do innovative things other than just brawl all over the ring and toss each other out. Which also means skinning the cat doesn't look as impressive when everyone is doing it, unless it is Bigshow, any time he does something like that it is impressive. I hear Nash can do it, but TNA doesn't have a rumble.

With all of TNA's gimmick match PPVs like Lockdown, It wouldn't surprise me if they had an all-Battle Royale one. Not that it would be a good idea :shifty:
