I keep thinking that. It's hilarious, but I'm not sure if it's intentionally so or not. These people do exist--just ask darkpower, they're his peers--but I have trouble believing this site's legit.

Then again, keep in mind it was first brought up in the context of the PTC's movie reviews. And those, along with CAP, are very real.

Yeah. It's hard for me to say with certainty it's a parody because I know people like this.


I talk to people that seriously think this way every day.

Every day would be an exaggeration for me, but I think I remember yuou working in a game store, so that's a pretty crucial difference right thurr. But yeah, I mean, I've even been accused of only owning a PS3 so I could pretend to not be biased.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a huge waste of money, and I can't imagine someone would even suggest that.

Yeah, in November, Sony lost ground, not only compared to last year, but also to their competition. They got creamed on the Holidays, being outsold in November and December by nearly three times in both months. It's those numbers they used to "project" Sony's victory, no less.

Again, I'd call this a joke site, but darkpower alone should prove these guys exist. I just wonder if they actually understand what winning entails.

Though as I've said before, I'll go wherever the games go. If Wii had all the shit I wanted, I'd be on it. If Sony had all the shit I wanted, I'd be on it. I don't really love the 360 so much as love the games. And then I buy multiplats for it because all of my friends have one.

Sony fans whining about texture quality....lol.

Last i read the ps3 and its graphics chip had less vram than the 360, so its texture quality is limited right there. They can use all their gigs and gigs of storage space for textures, for it to be usable it has to be compressed down further than it would on a 360 game to fit into the ps3's video memory.

Don't think theres that many instances of it though seeing most games are ports and seem to be built with the lesser console in mind.

Yeah, I work at a game store.

I had one guy and his wife come in and argue over buying a PSP. She didn't want him to get one because they're too expensive, right? She's like "Why don't you just get a DS?" He was all matter-of-fact like, "Because Nintendo makes it. It's crap." I had to try really hard not to say anything.

I mean, yeah buddy. You keep doin' your thing.

Another guy asked me if he should get a PS3 or a 360. I mentioned that 360 has more well received exclusive games, a better online service if you're willing to pay for it, and that most of PS3's good games are on 360. I listed off a handful of PS3 games, but there wasn't much I could think of that he was digging on. Guy's like, "But PS3 plays Blu Rays." I bring up that Microsoft is looking into a Blu Ray drive, and he proceeds to argue with me about whether or not PS3 is better based on the hardware.

Now, let me ask something. If he walked into the store fully in the mindset that PS3 was superior and that he wanted to buy one instead of a 360, why in the holy fuck would he ask my opinion on the matter? If he doesn't give a shit anyway, why in the fuck bother asking me about it? And the guy's girlfriend was like, "And you can't get GTA IV on a 360." I wanted to kick them out of the fucking store.
