Yes Mackem I understand this is a wrestling website.

The VG forum now feels too wrestling related and a lot less casual like it did before all these wrestling games got stickied. There will be no debate because I am correct. I demand they be unstickied. We do not need anything stickied except the gamertag thread.

Please direct all of your negative comments towards me to my inbox. My secretary will respond to each with a same generic response.

Plus they're shit/going to be shit wrestling games.

Sticky a King of Colloseum 2 or Fire Pro thread instead. Or even dig out a No Mercy one, not that generic shite we have now.

Does everybody else agree with G and Hasney, I just did it today and already there has been a wave of people against. OK only 3 (THREE) people but still more against than for.

Was just doing this to see if it could work but it's looking very much like it can't.

Xero 02-06-2009 12:23 PM

The SmackDown! thread is fine.

I'd say anything that is currently very active with more than 200 posts should be stickied. Otherwise, no.

For example, the wrestling sims topic has a shitload of posts but only 10 in the last month. I wouldn't call that "active".

Requiem 02-06-2009 12:26 PM

I agree with G.

The Mackem 02-06-2009 12:27 PM

Yeah, guess, so. Just done a temporary sticky of Hasney's wrestling games suggestions but I had to go back about ten pages. Not sure if there is any point of them being stickied hmmm. Anyway discuss. I think the biggest reason against stickying topics is that you will end up with too many stickied.

If Req was the mod of the VG Forum, this sort of thing would not happen. Req would only sticky threads for games that were obviously hugely popular over a length of time, and stayed popular, IE; the GTA threads for instance get HUGE. Then.. when they died down, they would get unstickied.

The Mackem 02-06-2009 01:10 PM

Hmm but won't they be at the top anyway?

Requiem 02-06-2009 01:13 PM

Not always at the top, but usually first page.

idk.. really, no threads need to be stickied except for informational 'general' threads about things. Like the gamertag thread.

#BROKEN Hasney 02-06-2009 01:18 PM

Exactly, if they're popular, they'll be on the front page anyways.

I love you Req

Fryza 02-06-2009 01:18 PM

The Gamertag thread is the only that needs stickied.

RoXer 02-06-2009 02:39 PM

I also agree with G

The Mackem 02-06-2009 03:35 PM

Yeah, agreed, unstickied. At least we had a consultation.

#BROKEN Hasney 02-06-2009 03:39 PM

On the plus side, The Makem caves to popular opinion.

#BROKEN Hasney 02-06-2009 03:39 PM

I don't mean that as a bad thing :y:

Wait, did I just go against my own suggestions? I <3 you for listening to the right source.
