Loved the first one, this one looks quite interesting. Shame its quite some time before it comes out though.

I loved the first one too, but I know I shouldn't have. If you want highly repetitive, that was what it was, but for some reason it worked. Can't wait for this.

Civil War adapted to a game, huh? I kinda like it, but I wonder how the hero vs hero dynamic will translate to a game where all the heroes have to work together in a co-op gameplay system. And will they pull back the damn camera this time?

I didn't watch the vids, but if that's what it's based on I'm now super-hyped.

Wasn't there a Marvel Zombies game planned?

I don't think so, but I wouldn't be surprised if we got some zombie skins for this game. It would make more sense than that shit in SvR (what the fuck were they thinking?).

Fuck that, it would just be skins in an Activision game. We need a proper Marvel Zombies game.

They treat there Ultimate Universe like a bastard child, there's little hope for Zombies. Would be funny, though.

I would normally agree with you about the Marvel Zombies, but if they're interested in the civil war story and pull this off PROPERLY, I will disagree with you.

So excited about this game. We've been playing through the first one again lately. Ready for a new one. Especially the Civil War base.

I'm hoping to own a 360 or PS3 by the end of the year so I might wait to pick it up. I have the first one on the Wii and it's pretty fun even though the motion controls are tacked on. I'm glad they've improved every new game in the series (X-Men Legends included). I started X-Men Legends II a month ago and Marvel Ultimate Alliance is so much better (I loved both X-Men Legends still). I wonder how awesome this will be.

I hope the interactive moves are still in. It's funny, I found the Wii controls silly but liked using a thumbstick to control certain action (like Thor's tornado, where I have to yell, "For Asgard!" while doing it).

The only thing I loved about the Wii controls was rotating the camera by rotating the nunchuck.

Cant wait for this. Went back and finished beating the first one again a couple weeks ago. The one thing I hope they fix is the mini game on the PS3 where you had to tilt the controller in certain directions to complete a task. It didn't work half the time for me. I liked the PS2 version better where you just hit the coresponding button as it popped up on screen.

IGN put up a preview of the game.

• You choose a side (either for or against the Registration Act) and stick to it for the whole game. There are multiple endings, of course.
• You can choose which superheroes join your side, if you think Iron Fist may have a good reason for joining Iron Man for whatever reason.
• Iron Fist confirmed, BTW.
• IGN, the pussies that they are, made no mention of whether the cramp camera would be pulled back in any way or why the visuals just barely improve over MUA1. They'll basically hype until review time when they'll surely complain then, not when the devs might do something about it.

Yeah, IGN's a joke site. Every game they preview will be the best game of all time ever.

What's the current release date on this by the way?

I loved the first one.
I have high expectations for this one..even though..didn't the first one end with Galactus getting pissed? I wonder if we will something about that on this one.

I wish they had side missions like X-Men Legends were you took part of famous comic book moments like Juggernaut raiding the mansion. Would be nice to have a mission like that with the zombies..

Playing this game made me realize that I always hold the nunchuk like 3/4 upright so the camera was always going crazy on me

It's nice that they are basing the story around civil war, but just once, I'd like to be able to play all the notable story arcs in marvel history. Kind of like how you pick sagas in dragonball z games.

I can never get into these games, because the story feels like a saturday morning cartoon, where nothing notable ever happens. It feels like filler.

Word. But...
So I'm gonna have to preorder this fucker.

Not a big comic guy, but I loved the first one.

Got the first one right after I moved out of my parents house and was playing it with my brothers, and we still haven't managed to get through it since we can only get together occasionally. Gonna have to get on that shit by September, apparently.

Hope we get more X-Men.

Better dig out the old X-Men Legends games if you want more X-Men, since if anything this game will probably have less X-Men in it. They didn't really have a huge involvement in Civil War in the comics.

And we're looking at Storm, Wolverine, and Thor - who had about nothing to do with the story line.

I think the game will probably have the usual x-men..Cyclops,storm,Wolverine,etc. Maybe gambit due to Wolverine Origins. I hope this game is longer than the first one. I swept through the first one pretty quick and I was left hungry.
The only guys I want are Punisher and Ronin.

Glad they've finally decided to pick one universe for the designs. The mix of ultimate and 616 was another reason it felt like filler.
