TBH I'm confused by it all. Someone explained what happened.

Jericho was signing autographs at what looked like outside an arena or something, and some random asshole stormed in and shouted that he isn't a wrestler anymore and tried to assault him as he was getting into his car. Jericho, obviously outraged at the guy, and the 2 or 3 fat security dudes surrounding him to stop these nutters, gets out of the car, knocks a bouncer on his face and then tries to rip the guys head off, while his mrs seems to be trying to push Jericho off him.

Then he escapes, after having to verbally direct his security to keep the nutter well away from him

Pretty sure he had his back to the situation and he turned around to defend himself after being attacked, not knowing it was a girl. He turned around swinging and then relented, and then came the boyfriend.
The whole time security stood there with their thumbs up their asses and that has to be absolutely infuriating.

Actually, does it really matter that it was a woman? Fan was attacking him and he responded physically.

Actually, went to my first indy show in awhile, and saw some pretty crazy fans there myself who were a little too into the show...some people are just too dumb to realize it's fake.

Wow just watched it again. Dunno if it's the whole new character (basically not Y2J) thing but jericho looks like one mean motherfucker. Just before he hits that girl and he stood there talking he looks fucking dangerous.

And I don't mean in that a "Jericho is a bad man" way, I mean that as in to say, don't fuck with Jericho coz he will kick your ass lol.

Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene."

Damn that is messed up. Jericho is really a cool guy in person, so people just have to be idiots to piss him off like that. They got what they deserve.

WTF, like don't these people fucking realize that this shit is STAGED?! I wished that fucking girl and guy got punched so fucking hard in the faces that they wouldn't have been able to remember what happened, then look at the video and see what happened and be like "..man, i was a dumbass.."

Those people had it coming. Some people can be such morons. It's sad they don't know when something is fake, and get too caught up in the make believe. Heck, I dress as a very convincing Jason Voorhees for Halloween, and I go walking down 6th street in Austin, Texas every year......the stories I could post! While most people are cool, there are plenty who are truly mentally ill that don't realize that things such as pro wrestling, and monsters are not real.

He did cut an anti-Canadian promo and don't Canadians take Canadian wrestlers insulting Canada personally. I seem to remember similar things happening to Bret Hart when he went through his anti-Canada phase.
