anyone know a good wrestling game for gamecube?
 

All I know is that the Wrestlemania games suck because I have them, and Defjam Vendetta is pretty good. Any others?

The only other wrestling games that I can think of on GameCube are the Legends of Wrestling series, which sucks...

Kinnikuman (Ultimate Muscle) has the old AKI engine (No Mercy, WCW Revenge, etc), so it's got some pretty fun gameplay, if you don't mind the overly cartoony looks. And I didn't think LoW 2 was that bad. Had a pretty nice grappling system. Just hope you don't mind the fact that all of the wrestlers look like plastic.

Anyways, if you're looking for realism, then you'll probably want to wait for the next WWE game to come out. If you're looking for just a fun rasslin game, I'd suggest giving those a rental or two.

sorry bro I have a gamecube and a ps2 I rarely play the gamecube because i like wrestling games...wrestlemania 19 is the best gamecube wrestling game and it still sucks..no story line its not bad if you have a few freinds to play with you but HCTP is the best wrestling game out there. I have legends of wretling as well and youll kick yourself if you get that game the controls suck and its not as good as they hyped it. Def jam isnt to bad its more of fight club then wrestling IMO.

also....not sure if its release for cube but UFC game is suppose to whoop ass

I imagine itll be wrestlemania XX probably around christmas time I havent heard anything about it of course i havent really looked or asked around yet.

Ultimate Muscle kicks ass. Don,t mind the cartoonish graphics, the negine is great and the storyline mode is goofy, and it just rules.

The next WWE game for Gamecube is WWE: Day of the Reckoning. The storymode makes you take someone from the minor leagues to the WWE.

WM XVIII was crap. Period.

WMXIX would have been the best wrestling game on Gamecube if not for revenge mode, and the ability to intrupt someone's special with a punch.

LOW was ok at best.

LOW 2 is pretty fun. The stories get repetitive, but I really enjoy the game engine.

Def Jam Vendetta has a good (slthough short story mode). However, this game is the man for it's soundtrack and madcap moves.

I didn't know Ultimate Muscle had the WCW vs nWo: World Tour engine! :eek: Must rent, must buy!

Yeah, and Day of Reckoning sounds hott.

I want some Fire Pro, though.

I liked No Mercy for N64. It was the best when it came out. But I think the Wrestlemania XIX game just sucks. It's no different from the Wresltemania X8 game which came out a year before, except for the Revenge mode. Which sucked.

I like the games with more of an actual story like No Mercy and the Smackdown games.

Same, but it's just that it's the only way to make money and it makes me want to poke my eyes out.

I havnt had a chance to rent it but I have played a demo for Ultimate Muscle and that is one pretty good game. Every wrestling fan should try that one out.

I got Ultimate Muscle. It really isn't that good. Each person has like five moves and every fight is the same. The story mode is like four fights, and in CAW you can't even pick their moves.

Yeah I dunno havent played it in like a year but I remember you can only pick like a set or name or something, I think you could pick like one move
