The puzzling adventure game is heading to the Wii courtesy of WayForward, the makers of Contra 4 on DS.

It has been 20 years since A Boy And His Blob was released on NES and, although it has been given a visual makeover, this new version sticks to its roots. Playing as the boy, you'll feed your blob companion jelly beans that transform him into useful objects such as a cannon, a trampoline, an anvil and a rocket.

You'll need to use these objects to see off enemies as you go on a mission to free Blobonia from an evil emperor.

This is interesting. I never had the chance to play the NES original so I may actually get this. Considering the graphics and the fact it is being remade by the people behind Contra 4 on the DS, why is it on the Wii? Wouldn't a DS remake make a lot more sense?
Anyway, I may get it but since getting the 360, I've not bought any Wii games.

LOL OH SHIT. I never really liked it that much though. Wish they'd do it for other NES games

I have played my Wii like 2 times since November. I hate how I feel closed off to the world because of it's lack of decent online.
