There are hundreds of guys who have as little recognition as Brody, but were loads better than Brody, yet it is always his name that gets brought up.

He is not someone who I can watch a great deal of. But he was alright. Tough as balls.

Hanso Amore 03-10-2009 12:37 PM

Brody was alright. Not nearly an all time great.

Had he not been murdered, he would have been forgotten by now.

Kane86 03-10-2009 12:44 PM

I doubt that

Most people dont even know who he is after the murder....

Imagine if he had faded into oblivion? He miight have found in a place in early ECW, but would have only ruined his legacy.

i would imagine wrestling in ecw would not have ruined his legacy. pure speculation, sure, but ruining his legacy doesn't seem to make sense.

Kane86 03-10-2009 02:23 PM

Paul Heyman did jsut fine ruining the ECW legacy himself. Brusier Bordy if he got signed by the WWF (yes i said it) COuld have made a great IC champ or even world champ. Way better then hogan was.

Gertner 03-10-2009 06:26 PM

Brody was amazing. Brody and Stan The Lariat Hansen fucking owned Japan in the 80's.

Destor 03-10-2009 08:03 PM

:?:

Brody wasn't one of the best, but he also wasn't one of the worst. Like Fabien said, there are guys who get less recognition despite being better than Brody.

Fignuts 03-11-2009 12:55 AM

Yeah, he was pretty awesome.

The Destroyer is prolly the most underappeciated wrestler in history tho. Guy's psychology was ridiculously good. Have to appreciate the slower paced 60's and 70's style wrestling tho, so I can see why current generations don't admire him as much.

Too much flippy floppy wrestling, and MTV rotting their brains.

Volare 03-11-2009 12:58 AM

Damn you MTV!
