Fortune City

Destor 03-12-2009 06:33 AM

Which pick isn't showing up for you lot and I'll change it.

Juan 03-12-2009 06:33 AM

Dammit Destor.

Destor 03-12-2009 06:34 AM

But I see them both.

Juan 03-12-2009 06:36 AM

I see them both too

Juan 03-12-2009 06:38 AM

I have feeling Perfect is going to run away with it this round, so I voted Regal to give him a fighting chance.

Obviously, Perfect has had a bigger impact on the business, but I can't discount what a bad ass Regal is in the ring.

Destor 03-12-2009 06:51 AM

how bout now?

Jeritron 03-12-2009 06:53 AM

Its showing.

I said Fortune City, implying I voted for it. That's why I thought you knew. I just realized that was kinda vague

Juan 03-12-2009 06:54 AM

This thread is so going in the next installment of botchamania

Destor 03-12-2009 06:54 AM

CSL said the same though, and didn't vote.

Fabien Barthez 03-12-2009 07:04 AM

Oh my. I think this one is going to be hard to justify whoever I pick. I will decide tomorrow.

Destor 03-12-2009 07:53 AM

It seems like people are having to think on this one.

Cactus Jack 54 03-12-2009 09:54 AM

Hennig is a better "overall" wrestler, however, I don't think that there is anybody in WWE now who could out shoot Regal, and that's what I'm basing my pick on.

In an actual wrestling match, Regal all the way.

DaveBrawl 03-12-2009 10:03 AM

Curt Henning. Everytime Regal gets on a roll something derails him. Sometimes it's his fault, sometimes it's not. Henning on the other hand was consistantly great, thus my vote.

At least Regal is still a live.

I voted Regal because I'm more familar with his work and ticked off the Hennig beat Savage.

Ruien 03-12-2009 11:09 AM

Mr. Perfect has to get my vote. Not many things caught my attention when I was a kid, but he did. Something about him made me want to keep watching, maybe it was just me wanting to be perfect.

Krimzon7 03-12-2009 11:18 AM

Regal is great, but there has always been something that holds him back from hitting the A Status. In my mind he reminds me of a mixture of Shelton Benjamin talent, with Jeff Hardy like Charisma. He's fearless enough to tackle ANY gimmick (insert Man's Man theme), as I believed him as a psychopath wrestler as well as a cunning GM. The cherry on top is that he has fucking Layla walking her sweet ass to the ring with him now.

Mr. Perfect is just what he says he was. I don't know if I'm elevating him because of his death in this instance, but he did everything well. I feel like we see traits of his gimmick in may of the attitude stars that we love. While I love what SCSA and Rocky did in promos, their gimmicks (I will talk a ton of shit and back it up!, Perfect was the first one I saw do it.

In all Honesty, this is a PUSH to me. MY heart goes with Perfect (no pun intended), simply because he's the incumbent.

Krimzon7 03-12-2009 11:19 AM

Holy shit, this will be a good one.

Innovator 03-12-2009 11:33 AM

Perfect, Regal never shat underneath a ring in WCW

So, shitting under the ring is ok, but shitting in the ring is not?

Innovator 03-12-2009 11:38 AM

As a rib to everyone else underneath there, yeah its funny

In the Wrestlemania main event...cmon take care of business before

Supreme Olajuwon 03-12-2009 11:38 AM

Going with Perfect again. While they're both great wrestlers, Hennig just had that indescribable "it" factor that forced you to watch him in the ring as he systematically broke down his opponent.

Kane86 03-12-2009 03:02 PM

This was a tough one.BUt i am going to have to go with Mr. Perfect. They are just both excellent in the ring. I wonder if this ever happened.

Krimzon7 03-12-2009 03:12 PM

:eek:This Thread did happen! It's happening RIGHT NOW!!!

Krimzon7 03-12-2009 03:20 PM

Are there any links to the story of him shitting under a ring? Perfect got a rep for being a pretty big prankster, and I'd like to hear more please.

thedamndest 03-12-2009 03:37 PM

Both men are the wrestler's wrestler, in the ring and out of the ring. Tough call, but I went with Perfect as I have more childhood memories watching him. I don't think the votes right now do justice to Mr. Regal though. I also wish they never started calling him William when he came to the WWF.

Kane86 03-12-2009 03:40 PM

I know the belt didn't really mean much. But Regal was one of the best European champions ever.

mike adamle 03-12-2009 04:25 PM

regal entertains me more, plus he kayfabe has layla, i mean sure its kayfabe, but still, layla
