Is he worth keeping around? (DJ Gabriel)
 

So with his lost to Tyson last week and his name was floating around the forums here alot last week but I wanted to ask do you think he;s worth keeping around in the WWE? He's got a simple gimmick, he's in good shape (his wiki says that he only weights 220 but he looks a lil bigger than that) and he has a mediocure finisher. I think that the gimmick is easy to build on. He could get a tag team partner who can actually sing (singer dancer combo), or get a big guy and have him teachin him to dance. If they dont want to do that isnt Norman Smiley a trainer? I'm sure Big Dick Johnson, Rikishi and the Blue Meanie wouldnt mind shakin there blobbies in the WWE again. So what do you think is he worth keeping around or now?

I think he has potential. his finisher is pretty cool IMO

Bringing in The Blue Meanie would only secure a wish well in future endeavors.

But hes worth keeping around.

No reason to pull the plug on him yet. He's a solid and entertaining talent that's gimmick still has legs.

And Alicia.

I think its to early in his career to make this thread about him yet. I just wish he would get rid of that lame ass dancing gimmick.

And the damn rubix cube trunks.

Just seen him for the first time now on ECW,he isn't going to last long.

I don't think they should fire Gabriel until they've made it clear what the relationship is between him and Alicia Fox. I NEED TO KNOW!

It's strictly business. Risky business.

I'd like to see Gabriel feud with William Regal. Two British guys, who know how to wrestle -- one with a hardened street philosophy, and the other with a fun-loving personality. Regal would be all "act proper" and Gabriel would be all "loosen up." A dance-off between the two would be hilarious stuff, too. Layla would try and bust out some of her cheerleading stuff to compete with Alicia, but Regal would be all "show class, you little toe-rag!"

I'm pretty sure DJ Gabriel must love his job.

I think he has at least one more re-package to go before they think about cutting him.

The guy has the WWE look. He will get more chances than most.

BTW, His finisher is one of the most unique and fresh out there.

I think he needs to add a 2nd finisher, maybe make that a signature move just because of the lack of set ups for the move, but it is old school and I love it.

If they want to give him some legit heat they'll have him hit Fox with a spine buster during that swing bit during the dance.


And I really don't watch ECW, albeit I should. Never seen the dude's finisher.

Looks great, but I don't think WWE fans will buy it.

I dig his style too.


But he does need more development.

LIke I, and others, have said, he needs to become a fucking lunatic dancing man, a la Joker in Batman.

And you get him Heel heat by making him "force" Alicia to dance with him. Make her a sympathetic face who is trapped with an unstable madman who likes to dance. Have someone try to save alicia, only to take a chair shot.

I have this amazing vision of Gabriel beating someone in a big match, drenched in blood, with a crazy smile on his face dancing around the ring.
