I thought the demo was okay. Definitely a better action game than other games that claim to be action games. Overuse of QTEs is pretty obvious but the set pieces are epic at times. The actual fighting is tight but it plays it far too safe in terms of style. The whole package plays it safe, really. More a complement to Ninja Gaiden than an answer, although it has a far better camera.
Knowing I would release a 'not great - not bad' game like this, I would have pushed for a two-player mode. Action games still avoid this even after DMC3's tease and it would have been nice to see it in this or any other action game (particularly since they all usually have some kind of secondary major character, non-playable of course).
