Jan-May really is a terrible time for movies. The hollywood system has a starvation system so the summer and winter seasons pack more punch.

Summer is full of big action or comedy movies, and the winter has a few big event pictures and "oscar season"

I really lament January-May as a moviegoer. There's usually one or two big movies in March, but the rest is shit the studio has little confidence in, or romantic comedies in time for Valentines.

I saw Race To Witch Mountain. I would recommend seeing it. It really isn't embarrasing to see the movie. The Rock was great in it. The girl twin was a good actress and she will probably get more work in the future. Carla Gugino was in the 2000th movie I have seen her in since 2008 haha and I think she is a pretty good actress. You'll like most of it.
