Another wrestler passes away.

Steve Doll, 44, known as Steven Dunn in WWF as part of the Well Done tag team, passed away earlier today.

Dunn teamed with Timothy Well to form the Well Done tag team in the WWF from 1993-1995 and also performed in various southern promotions as Steve Doll.

Reports are he was taken off life support and died shortly thereafter.

Used to watch him in the USWA. Heard that he had kidney problems.

HeartBreakMan2k 03-23-2009 12:24 AM

Shame, was never a fan in all honestly but still sad none the less.

Gertner 03-23-2009 12:25 AM

Shitty way to die.

interforce 03-23-2009 12:26 AM

Was not a huge fan either but still sad to hear another wrestler passes away.

Lifelong jobber, this is probably his claim to fame. Regardless, R.I.P. Steve.

Destor 03-23-2009 01:03 AM

For anyone who ever watched USWA wrestling you know how good of a performer he was. He was an assest for any promoter to have and was nothing short of a good hand. And a good man. RIP.

Destor 03-23-2009 01:19 AM

BTW, Kane86 is banned for 5 days.

Shadow 03-23-2009 01:21 AM

Jesus H. Christ SHUT THE FUCK UP KANE86!

A man is dead. Have some respect. Just because you didn't hear about him doesn't make him worthless.

Oh and Juan....STOP TAKING MY GIMMICK YOU MEXICAN!

DarKCentaur 03-23-2009 01:22 AM

Funky Fly 03-23-2009 01:42 AM

Absolutely.

He really could work great with anyone, and he just had the psychology of 'old-school' wrestling down so well. He also was a very funny character.

Shame to be taken away so soon.

Best to his family and friends. R.I.P.

Xero 03-23-2009 02:10 AM

:(

screech 03-23-2009 02:13 AM

Wasn't very familiar with his work, but it's still sad.

RIP :(

Rollerskategirl 03-23-2009 03:06 AM

This sucks. To many wrestlers have died over the last few years. I don't really follow it, but it's sad.

RIP

Rammsteinmad 03-23-2009 03:18 AM

Well, it's only March and we've just had two deaths in the span of about a week. Let's hope that's it.

Anyways, was never really a fan. I can remember Well Done from when I first started watching back in 92/93, but never really cared to be honest.

R.I.P anyway. :(

CSL 03-23-2009 03:43 AM

There have been 7 pro wrestling deaths so far this year, Test and Steve Doll being the only ones most people on here would know about.

For those that do care, apparently Abismo Negro got pulled out of a river yesterday. He did a few shots for WWF/E around 96/97 (including the 97 Rumble) and was in TNA a few years ago for the World X Cup or whatever it was called. Was a name in Mexico

No shit? First I've heard of that. That sucks.

Innovator 03-23-2009 10:12 AM

He was a good hand, shitty way to go out

That's a pretty huge claim to fame though. Not too many people can say they were a part of one the biggest moments in professional wrestling history.

I only remember him from the Well Dunn tag team, but I did enjoy the team even if it didn't last very long. I even have a trading card that's in pretty good condition.

R.I.P. Steve

Blue Demon 03-23-2009 07:10 PM

I remember going to a house show years ago and the opening match was Well Dunn Vs. The Bushwhackers...RIP.

Jeritron 03-23-2009 07:15 PM

Shawn Michaels once used the phrase "well done" in a promo on Raw, obviously having no connection to the tag team, but a friend of mine convinced some kid at school that it meant "Well Dunn" was going to join DX the next week. The kid bought it, and we got a rise out of it to ourselves. This was in like 6th grade.

That's my biggest memory of "Well Dunn"
