Watch Bret bitch and moan about Montreal for an hour and a half for free
|
I've watched Bret bitch and moan about Montreal for the last 10 years for free.
|
Montreal is a work.
|
So was Eddie's death.
Cause, you know, he's a compulsive liar. |
I think that is old.
|
What happened in Montreal?
|
Bret was humbled by the Camel Clutch that is Vince McMahon's power.

Sunny is everyone's friend
|
Especially Fondle Me Elmo's.

She's just a friend... who likes to conveniently sit on men's penises.
|
Yeah... use the second one, I think it was funnier.
|
He's really only bitching about it for the last 10 minutes.
|
I remember really wanting to watch this when it first come out ten years ago. Now I couldn't care less.
|
Awesome documentary.

Also, I love how the first thing you see on the screen as it opens is "high road productions."

You know, after watching this I have even less respect for Bret, and the core of it all is the fact that he somehow thinks that "I'm proud to be a hero and that I always do the right thing" and "it was the right thing to do to solve my problems with Vince McMahon with violence" don't contradict each other.
|
Vince deserved a punch in the face. He basically fucking asked for it.
Fuckin yankee pussies, dont fuck with a canuck if you dont wanna hit the pavement. |

Cause he says one and does the other?

Anyway I disagree with Tedious. Hitting a guy who did you wrong in the face is heroic. He's ajust a pussy who'se been brainwashed by this PC age.
MAN UP TEDIOUS |
Bret had it coming though, the only reason he didn't want to job is because he's a mark for himself.
|
YOu always job on your way out, every wrestler knows this.

Besides, he would have jobbed, but HBK wasnt a worthy person to job to. |
None of that is relevent. The only thing that says is Hogan is equally shitty and every bit the mark for himself Bret is. "HBM isn't worthy to go over me." It's a fucking work. It's not some real compititon and it's not a real title.
Bret=mark. |
Hogan's a bigger shit stain than Bret, overall.

I've seen this documentary a few times before. Here are my thoughts:
Everyone played a part, I don't really care who was "right or wrong." What does, to this day, perplex me is the dynamics of the whole "saga". Nobody's any less of a good person for any of it. Maybe one is harsh, maybe one is a crybaby. Oh well. It's not like they did anything morally reprehensible. Bret was out of line in being so difficult about dropping the belt, and Vince was swift in his approach to it. He didn't do the nice thing. He didn't trust him, and he chose that the future of his company wasn't worth betting on the relationship. Oh well. We all know Vince doesn't hold any punches when it comes to business. As for Bret, I think he is a good guy and being a good guy is important to him. It's sad that he truly feels wronged. If he wants to take things at face value he was, but he brought it on himself. There's a history that comes before the boiling point. It's like a guy running around on the highway for hours and getting enraged at the guy who hits him. Also, we're talking about a title change in a fixed sport here. It's not so bad. The problem is to Bret it's like the worst thing ever. Bret seems to think his kayfabe legacy/character being tarnished is the equivalent of someone killing his family. It's a bit disturbing just how into his own hype he is. Just like Hogan, and a lot of these other guys, I think they have personal issues that drive them to "live the gimmick" and identify more with their in-ring persona and fans, rather than with themselves and their family. Sad. I think he has too much pride, and is stubborn as hell. I also don't think he's the happiest human being on the face of this earth. I don't know him, but he doesn't seem like the most fun-loving guy. He seems humdrum, bitter, often times angry, and seeing his personal life and relationships with his wife/father is borderline depressing. I think he's got that old school, uptight personality of a 1920s coal miner. Just a lot of strange stuff going on there. |
I also think he has "daddy issues."
Seems like Vince was a second father to him too. Uh oh. |
Zen, shut the fuck up. Honestly. You only post when Bret threads come up. You might as well be a sock.
|
wtf are you talking about?
Also, tell me when something in the current product is ever worth discussing. Wrestling sucks now, period. |
