1. And this isn't me being a bitchy smark. I honestly haven't thought about watching or trying to find a freind who is watching it one time. I haven't been interested in watching RAW/SD!/ECW leading up too it and more often than not have just plain skipped the shows all together.

So yeah, 1.

Destor 03-26-2009 04:52 PM

Oh, I see you put 0 as an option. That then.

Destor 03-26-2009 04:53 PM

I do have to note how crazy excited I usually am for Mania. It's usually like a holiday for me.

FourFifty 03-26-2009 04:55 PM

I'm hyped because I'll be there. 10.

James Steele 03-26-2009 04:56 PM

I put an 8 because I will try to do everything to see it on PPV, and I am really excited about most of the matches. I know Vince McMahon will make this WrestleMania awesome. I marked out so hard for WrestleMania 20, and I think WWE will make sure this is even bigger than that.

James Steele 03-26-2009 04:58 PM

I am also loving my sig with a 10 out of 10.

Jeff V Matt and MITB I GUESS

Everything else is dead to me

Jeritron 03-26-2009 05:08 PM

7. I'm just a jaded bastard. I love the current product, and I'm more pumped for certain matches on this card than I usually am for Wrestlemania.
I am quite excited for the "holiday" of it, since I always watch it with friends.
I vote 7 because, as of today, I'm living my life and I'm not bursting at the seams to see it.
I'll probably climb to an 8 or 9 that weekend, since it's something to do.

I'm always excited for any kind of event, whether it be a sporting event, movie release, concert, or whatever I have going on my free time/interests.

Kapoutman 03-26-2009 05:22 PM

I'm hyped, but that's because it's been a tradition with my friends since Wrestlemania 10. It started with soft drinks and chips, and we moved on to beer and pizza over the years. It's like our Super Bowl.

So 10 for me.

Team Sheep 03-26-2009 05:33 PM

10 because I'll be there in the motherfucking 6th row :D

Xero 03-26-2009 05:39 PM

Matt vs. Jeff and Taker vs Michaels (which will easily be match of the night and a MotY candidate) make it an easy 7 for me.

If a few other matches are quality (Orton/Trips especially) I could see me rating it a 9 after the event.

Don't have too high hopes for MITB to be honest.

If Fink announces the entire or at least the majority of the event it gets an automatic 10.

thedamndest 03-26-2009 05:40 PM

7 seems about right. The product has been better lately, but I don't have my calender marked or anything. I intend to watch it as I do with all of the PPVs.

Londoner 03-26-2009 05:43 PM

6,i guess.Don't think excited is the right word though.

20 had the potential to have been a great WrestleMania, but there were so many lousy feud matches (Christian vs. Jericho, Taker vs. Kane) and title matches that I still to this day find it unbearable to watch, save for the main events for obv. reasons. In case you hadn't researched it, all but one of the titles was up for grabs; Orton's Intercontinental Championship was not due to the fact that he was in a shitty 3-on-2, Evolution vs. Rock 'N Sock Connection, Hadicap Tag Match.

#BROKEN Hasney 03-26-2009 05:57 PM

Keep forgetting Shawn V Taker for some reason. I also forgot Mark henry was in MITB.

Still a 4, but replace Michaels V Taker with MITB

The two 4-way tag matches were OK (Too Cool winning and dancing was a fun moment). Jericho/Christian was a good match with a nice swerve, and Taker/Kane was more about Undertaker returning as The Deadman. Molly/Victoria was ok but badly placed. Cena/Big Show was a decent opener. The whole mystique of it being WrestleMania XX, the return of the Hall of Fame, Chris Benoit finally winning the World Championship, Eddie/Angle. Goldberg/Lesnar was a giant clusterfuck, but now knowing how little those 2 cared about the business it doesn't suprise me.

Dorkchop 03-26-2009 06:33 PM

7, but that's not to say it won't be great. I wasn't that excited for last year's mania, but I ended up loving it. Fuck, even the Show/Mayweather match was entertaining.

Stealth-Icon 03-26-2009 06:50 PM

Wow, WM 25 is coming up. I must have missed the comercials for the LAST 6 MONTHS

James Steele 03-26-2009 06:57 PM

Shut the fuck up, you annoying little dipshit.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-26-2009 06:59 PM

6. It would be a lot higher but after all the hype and potential surrounding the Jericho match, the eventual formation of the 3 on 1 match was just a huge letdown and took the wind out of my sails. I know that's not entirely WWE's fault, but I have no desire at all to see Piper or Snuka back in the ring. I am moderately interested in seeing what Steamboat has in him but not enough to recharge my excitement.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-26-2009 07:03 PM

I was also disappointed to learn that they were possibly planning on doing Swagger/Borne and scrapped it.

Triple Naitch 03-26-2009 07:13 PM

7.5

I'm satisfied with the current crop of talent, but the overall matches are just underwhelming. Things have been thrown together too fast in some angles and have dragged out in others. Some matches just seem like too much of a cluster fuck. I love the idea of the Unified Tag Title Match and the participants have been entertaining, but the Lumberjack stipulation is too much. The Diva's Battle Royal is just a waste of space. I'd rather see a Unified Women's Championship match and even make that a LumberJill Match.

I'm hoping Swagger comes out and makes an open challenge and Bourne or Dreamer accept.

I have a strong feeling it will be 95% Steamboat vs Jericho. Piper can't do much after what he's been through, and Snuka just seems really...out of place. Plus, Ric Flair will be in their corner and they will do something with Mickey Rourke. I know that Jericho will probably lose, or win through cheating then get "one-upped" by the legends but this is a potentially amazing thing. I never thought I'd get to see Ricky Steamboat vs Chris Jericho.

The Gold Standard 03-26-2009 08:09 PM

9, there needs to be a little more done to hype the undercard, but other than that Raw made me very excited for Mania.

20 is one of my top Manias ever. But again, I am not a fan that cares for watching classic wrestling matches all night. The storylines and the drama interest me more, hence Lesnar/Goldberg being one of my favorite matches in Mania history. Seeing it live was unreal.

Chritian/Jericho: Swerve. nuff said.

Angle/Eddie: Got my fill of a good classic match. That's all I need

Deadman Taker returning

Benoit winning the title. Awesome

That was my kind of Mania. Entertainment 70%, wrestling 30%

Rammsteinmad 03-27-2009 11:58 AM

7.

I'm excited because it's Wrestlemania. But in all fairness the card seems quite weak.

Krimzon7 03-27-2009 12:17 PM

This card has some solid matches on it! Orton HHH will be good. Cena/Show/Edge will rule as we may get a mythical Triple Turn! This has epic swerve potential...Cena Leaving Mania with the Belt AND Vickie??? Imagine the heat! Edge moving to a lovable tweener, and Show going full on monster for getting shat on would be awesome.

The MITB will be good. Christian, Punk, Benjamin will provide some great spots, and MVP will elevate to their level. We will get some sick bumps from the brawlers.

Michaels and Taker/Nuff Said

JBL/Maisteo and Hardy squared are throw away for me. I'll be happy to watch the diva battle royal.

The Legends Match will be entertaining. The three old geezers will be able to take some bumps and get some nostalgic offense in to entertain the crowds. Then We will all mark when stone cold comes in and stuns EVERYONE. That is going to happen.

Then we have the match that will steal the show, The Colon's versus the In Crowd.

I'm very high on the matches that I like, but very meh on the ones that I dont' like. I will give my excitement level a moderate 6.

FourFifty 03-27-2009 12:47 PM

I think when I go I'll bring a sign that says "Vintage Cena!" Someone else mentioned that idea in another thread... I just can't recall who said it in which thread.

Xero 03-27-2009 01:07 PM

Take a big "Vintage" sign with a white board under it and just write a new name every match.

Team Sheep 03-27-2009 02:01 PM

MAMAJUANA sign

FourFifty 03-27-2009 02:24 PM

"VINTAGE LINDA McMAHON!!!!!!"

Xero 03-27-2009 02:32 PM

"Vintage Rick Roll"
