So who's going to see 12 Rounds.

Be Honest.

IC Champion 03-27-2009 02:11 PM

No one.

thedamndest 03-27-2009 02:11 PM

Haven't you been watching Raw? If so, you've already seen everything but the credits.

Boondock Saint 03-27-2009 05:54 PM

Not in the theater no. DVD possibly.

D Mac 03-28-2009 04:31 AM

I'll probably download if there's a decent copy.

GD 03-28-2009 05:02 AM

SPOILER: show
John Cena wins in the end

The Genius 03-29-2009 12:39 AM

no desire to see it in theaters or on dvd.

screech 03-29-2009 12:57 AM

I don't know that I'll make an effort to see it in theaters, but I'll Netflix it. I'm already against it because I hate John Cena's acting. But it's cheesy action so I'll probably enjoy it.

Boondock Saint 03-29-2009 07:29 PM

This bombed.

Buzzkill 03-29-2009 07:47 PM

I am going to hunt you down, and I'm going to kill you!!

Innovator 03-29-2009 07:56 PM

good

IMO WWE needs to stop shoving these movies down everyone's throats I mean they mentioned it a million times in one show. That alone made me have no desire to see it whatsoever.

RGWhat316 03-30-2009 01:46 AM

I do not intend on seeing it, but I may have to with a WM bet I have going on with a buddy of mine. Its on the WWE title match, hes convinced HHH is winning, I say Orton will win. But if HHH loses I have to see 12 Rounds.

But to the point, just as RVDNick said, they shove it down wrestling fan's throats so much that it turns us off. Not to mention that it looks exactly like his wrestling character, he has to "overcome the odds" to save his girlfriend. Now if Cena is going to get killed in the movie, it might be more worth seeing. Besides the guy can barely act hurt in the ring, how is he gonna act in a real movie?

wwe2222 03-30-2009 09:06 AM

I willingly saw this yesterday in the movie theater. It was pretty much the Marine 2 with the plot for Die Hard 3. Overall though, it was fairly entertaining. Much more so than the Marine.

Let's not forget Mark Henry's Sexual Chocolate theme making it into the movie.

Whaaaat?

Dark-Slicer Diago 03-30-2009 11:04 PM

Haven't seen it and don't plan on seeing it.

KayfabeMan 03-31-2009 02:50 AM

So who is going to see 12 Rounds?

Judging by the box-office numbers, not anyone really.

Sting Fan 03-31-2009 05:42 AM

I will probably hire it on DVD.

At the end of the day its a cheesy action flick I dont expect a lot but I enjoyed the Marine (brainless popcorn flick) so I will give this a chance to.

I also feel like with a better role and a little less muscle Cena could make a decent actor. Right now his roles are cookie cutter action nothing more and he looks to huge to be anything but a action hero.

Its kind of limiting to him doing any real or serious acting IMO.

Kris P Lettus 03-31-2009 06:22 PM

SPOILER: show
He fights a dude half his size on a helicopter over NOLA's CBD then the copter blows up with Cena and his girl jumping out into a pool on top of a hotel, with money and burning debris falling everywhere.. Any of you nerds want to buy some of the money from that scene cause I got like 5 bills..

BigDaddyCool 03-31-2009 09:37 PM

Thanks for ruining it KPL

D Mac 04-01-2009 04:22 PM

So did you meet Cena Krispy?

CSL 04-01-2009 04:45 PM

I'm pretty sure (not entirely) that he posted a pic of himself with Cena on here

Kris P Lettus 04-01-2009 04:57 PM

Yeah I talked to him a few times..

Trying to find the pic but I dunno who's comp I posted it from..

D Mac 04-02-2009 03:02 PM

Tell him he sucks for me. :y: :D

RGWhat316 04-07-2009 12:49 AM

Well due to Orton's loss at Mania, I had to go and see it today. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, and it was funny to see Cena get all pissed. But in reality, it was really just a stretch of his WWE character. He had to "overcome the odds", which we all know by now what happens.
