Hellraiser film series
 

Did anyone ever get into them?
The Hellraiser series has been the only horror film series that has been able to keep my attention after such a long time. Actually that is a lie, Phantasm as well but Hellraiser more.
I feel like Clive Barker really presents another face of horror and has created characters that really make you wonder about life and the way many of us live it.

I like the first two...the rest, not so much

I like all but the first 2 were the best.
They had the best atmosphere and stories.

I remember watching a bunch of them in college, because a roommate was really big into it. I thought it was extremely boring.

Clive Barker is an absolute fucking genius and it's a shame that the Hellraiser series gets tossed into the same bin as every other horror series with a shitload of sequels.

It's also a shame what happened to the series more recently. The last three "movies" were absolute ass.

Did any of you ever read the graphic novels of Hellraiser Clive Barker wrote in the early 90's? They are absolutely awesome. They are a lot like the first 2. Some of the stories are real bad ass too. There was a story that took place during the crusades and another during Ancient Greece. They also go into greater detail about the power structure in hell/alternate dimensions and rivalries between cenobites.

HAs anyone heard of the remake they are doing?
