I have no clue and I do not really care. The rate those types of games are pumped out made me lose complete interest.

It's not the same as the shitty "PIZZA TYCOON" etc. he had nothing to do with them. They were built on the sucess of the tycoon series from Sawyer. He did say that he doesn't like how people associate the two, but "it's nice to have had some sort of legacy in the business. Most people don't even get that, no matter how bad".

Rollercoaster Tycoon (wasn't going to be called that, but publishers forced the Tycoon based on the popularity of Transport)

Airport Tycoon was the worst for me though. I actually got that thinking it was a Sawyer game.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe was quite fun. I've got Locomotion knocking about somewhere as well.

Transport Tycoon and Chris Sawyer's other Tycoon series (Rollercoaster Tycoon) are the only "true" Tycoon games, the rest are knock offs.

Repped. This is my point of view too, very rare peoples views are this similar and I'm happy someone else shared the beauty of these real Tycoon games.

I absolutely loved Rollercoaster Tycoon but haven't actually played Transport Tycoon/Locomotion yet, I shall have to get hold of one of them and try it out. I do remember some years ago having a demo of Railroad Tycoon 2 on the PC and I did enjoy that too, I believe that was Sid Meier though.

I loved that shit. Unfortunately, it was incredibly difficult. I only ever managed to do anything by taking a loan from every single mafia group in every city and leaving the cities long enough for them to lost interest in finding me and having their way with me.

I think Transport Tycoon Deluxe is a really really good game and I have always wanted to have a four hour multiplayer game just to see what it would be like. There is still a huge fanbase for the game.

Was mad addicted to Rollercoaster tycoon when I was younger. Would build some INSANE parks cause I had time to do nothing but play that after school every day. I also had railroad tycoon which was alright but not nearly as cool as rollercoaster.

Rollercoaster Tycoon was very fun and took a lot of my time after school, too. I loved building custom shit like go kart tracks. :love:
