What is your favorite style of wrestling?

I like hardcore,brawling,technical,and power wrestling. I like high flying but its just not believable to me as much as the others are. I would say comedy but I don't think its legit

No offence Kane86, but you've asked what's our favourite, and then you've not only listed five, but your five generally cover all the different styles to begin with (though I gotta be honest, what's "power wrestling"?).

Anyways, to answer your question, I'm a straight up technical guy. I love guys like Benoit, Jericho, Malenko, Storm, RVD etc. I love watching some good impressive chain wrestling with lots of counters etc.

Of course I do enjoy a good old fasioned brawl here and there.

Power wrestling is what I like to call the style of wrestling the bigger guys use such as Kane,Undertaker, and Big Show they are big powerful guys whose offense contain a bunch of powerful slams and so on. Thats what I call power wrestling its the same style that Lashley and Goldberg would use as well.

You don't have to list just one you can say as many as you want. I never said narrow it down to one.

When you say, "What is your favorite style of wrestling?" That generally implies that you are asking for people to narrow it down to one. Now if you said, "What are your favorite styles?" then that would mean list as many as you want.

I Like submission wrestling.

I like to see somebody phyically break an opponent down in order to lock in their hold. If Morrison or MVP had a great submission, I'd be the founder and president of the 'I'm gay for MVP or Morrison fan club'.

technical.... give me a Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Storm, HBK, Bret match any day of the week over anything else..... all the other styles are great every now and then, but I can never get sic of technical

My two favorite styles of wrestling are hardcore and divas wrestling. As a heterosexual male, I am turned off by most of the wrestling world that chooses to feature two oiled up men in biking bottoms grabbing each other and trying to get on top of each other. In hardcore wrestling, many of the wrestlers wear shirts and pants so it's less gay. Also, there is more striking and less holding which is also less gay.

Divas wrestling is basically the same thing as regular wrestling, but it's with two chicks so it's cool. Plus there's a lot of grunting and groaning in divas matches so I have plenty of masturbatory material should I feel the need to masturbate at that time.

I think most of you guys need to find another hobby. You do realize that wrestling would better off without fans like you don't you? I mean....I have watched thread after thread after thread of negativity and just plain crap. Good grief you guys have even been bashing Wrestlemania now. Now I'm not talking to all of you, but I am talking to most of you. I think I liked it better when WCW was around. At least then it made the WWF look that much better to you. The fact that there were several posts before Kane86 could even get a legit response just further proves my hypothesis that wrestling news and forums on the interenet should be outlawed. So just go...please....go.

I love a good technical match. Give me an Angle or a Benoit or Malenko any time. In the same vein, I love submission wrestling. Punish your opponent before locking in a devastating hold? Why not? I am all for it.

I also love a good hardcore match. Watching trash cans get flattened on someone's skull has always entertained me.

Power wrestling also entertains me quite a bit (Kane, Taker, Lesnar, Show, etc.)

I love hardcore over anything else.

I like wrestling that is of the professional type.

The only problem I have with hardcore wrestling is every mother fucker of today like fat ass pieces of shit like Mad Man Pondo that onle make a career out of using an entire weapons based offense. It used to take some skill but anyone can be hardcore wrestler today. The only ones today that still do hardcore wrestling good are Abyss and Necro Butcher. JCW and XPW are not helping either. Anyone on this board vna be a Mad Man Pondo there is nothing uniqe about he hardcore wrestlers today. Ian Rotten is a piece of shit I just had to add that.

It depends on how it's executed. Punching, or I guess "brawling" for instance. One of the things that I can't stand in wrestling is how fake the punches look. It really bothers me when in a match, they "work on the leg" or something by doing these half-assed looking kicks to it, as if that ever even has much consequence in a wrestling match anyway. Someone like Austin or The Rock, though, made their punches have style and legitimacy to them. That being said, most wrestlers can't pull that off too well.

How I feel about it is, the audience knows it's fake, so either make it so over the top that you have to like it, or make it look so realistic that the audience doesn't even know what's real anymore. None of that "working on the leg" bullshit unless you are actually seeing someone getting their leg broken.

My favorite wrestling style is power wrestling by the way.

Yeah I like Necro Butchers brawling style. If you watch one of his matache with Samoa Joe or Brain Damage he acutally trades punches with them. I have seen weaker looking punches in a fucking kung fu movie from the 70's If Necro is not really punching and trading blows with Samoa Joe and Brain Damage then he is doing a damn good job at selling then.

Abyss is terrible at hardcore matches. TACKS TACKS TACKS

No I haven`t, I don`t have time to watch a lot of wrestling. However, I`ve watched enough to know that tacks lost their charm after the first couple times of use. Especially seeing as Abyss uses them every hardcore match he`s in.
