folder hide or folder lock softwares? I emphasize on free. I don't want my cousin to go through certain Kamasutra e-books that I have on my laptop.

WINDOWS: right click... properties... hidden folder (check in this box).

LINUX: put a '.' in front of the folder name

Back in the day I would always just bury shit.

I know that. But that becomes easily viewable from the folder options.

Just keep it in a password protected zip/rar/compression format of your choice then, probs easiest.
