The official DirecTV preview for the debut episode of WWE Superstars next week on WGN lists host Kevin Kelly for the series.

If so, that would be Kelly's return to the company after departing in 2003. It could always be a mistake on the part of DirecTV, but that's a really strange, random mistake to make.

I thought this had Josh Matthews written all over it.

But I listened to his shoot, now I love the guy, he totally knew his place and seemed like a really nice guy. So I approve

It's basically going to be a show that does first-run matches from all brands.

Kevin Kelly debunked this in a story I read today. It was on WZ, but he hosts a radio show and writes collums there so I think it's legit.

Might be listed purely because he could possibly have been the last host of the last run of Superstars?

Yeah, it seems weird that the WWE would re-hire Kevin Kelly. I'd mark out if the WWE did bring back Hermie as a backstage interviewer, though, and they ran an angle where he was Kelly Kelly's older brother. I don't know why, but I just think it'd be funny to see Kevin Kelly trying to protect his little sister from WWE Superstars who were trying to hit on her.

If Josh Mathews is on ECW permanently now, then I think Jack Korpela would make an interesting guy for the show.

It's just DirecTV, they did the same thing with the new unsolved mysteries and said Robert Stack was the host for like 2 months... also they kept Jimmy Fallon and Tina fey up for a whole season of SNL after Falon left and Fey left their respective consecutive years.

They're trying to trick people into watching because Kevin Kelly = Ratings.

Also, Noid, that Kelly Kelly thing would be hilarious.

Today I added Superstars for a Tivo recording and it also says Kevin Kelly is the host.

And if Kevin Kelly is back then I have no problem. He was a fair addition.
