I can't remember who said they just got GH Aerosmith...

Anyway, I got it yesterday. Beat it on Hard already and working through expert. Worth it as a budget title, just not a full priced one.

So yeah, whoever it was, feel free to hit me up on Live.

I heard TRU has a deal coming up on GHWT, so I'll probably be grabbing that soon, too.

It was me. I am probably not going to play it again. Only need to beat the last 2 tiers on expert, which I will probably never be good enough to do. I'm working on World Tour now, which is decent. I need to find a partner to do the band career, since Roxer (RoXy for Kalyx) is too much of a pussy to get it. It's $25 shipped at the place I got it from. Arrived 3 days after ordering.

I am done with music games. The only things I'll be getting is Metallica and some track packs for RB2. Then I'll sink back into retirement.

You said you were done after GH3. Then you got into RB2. I hate you.

No I'm definitly calling it quits after Metallica

G 04-12-2009 12:01 AM

3200 points?

"Oh shit, GH5's guitar has an EXTRA BUTTON!? Fuck guys, I'm back."

G, the thing with these music games is that no matter how many times you improve, and beat songs you never thught you'd beat, moving up to a new level a skill alays seems impossible.

It's weird, cause it's not even that much of a gradual improvement. One day, you just "get it" and can do things you couldn't before.

I mean, a year ago, if you told me I could beat 98% of the songs on a metallica game, I would have laughed in your face.

It always seems impossible to get better than you already are in these types of games, but your eyes will get faster, and you will get better.

Also, yeah I got Aerosmith too. Pretty fun game, with much better charting than GH III.

Thigns are definitely easier than before for me. I soared through Hard in 24 hours. I'm already halfway through Expert. I know this isn't the hardest GH game, but still, I know I'm better than when I played the demo.

These games can piss you off with taht brick wall sensation. Thankfully, with Rock Band (and to a lesser Extent, GHWT), a large amount of DLC can take that and lessen or eliminate it.
