Are you ready... Yet again?

From PWInsider:

It looks like we are heading for another DX Reunion run as the November events in France are being advertised as the "DX Invasion" tour.

SuperSlim 04-16-2009 05:16 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO why?

SammyG 04-16-2009 05:18 PM

BREAK IT DOWN

Nark Order 04-16-2009 05:19 PM

November huh?
Maybe they plan on giving DX another short run before turning HHH heel and having him and Shawn fued for Shawn's last match..?

The Mackem 04-16-2009 05:23 PM

Maybe just to sell tickets in France?

That is a ridiculous thought, Mack. :shifty:

Just an idea for DX:

If DX are feuding with Legacy per se.......that's 2 on 3.

Personally - I think it would be awesome if for one PPV and one PPV only, Hunter and Shawn brought in Kevin Nash or Sean Waltman to even out the odds.

November PPV: HHH/HBK/Nash vs. Legacy or HHH/HBK/X-Pac vs. Legacy

At this point in their careers, I also think that an HBK/HHH rift would be ill-advised. Let HBK and HHH finish out their careers as friends.

DX invades France, France raises white flag.

Droford 04-16-2009 07:53 PM

Maybe its a "new" DX.

So, HHH turns on HBK again. I wish it was the opposite for once.

Only problem with that scenario is that even with JUST Triple H and HBK against Legacy, Legacy doesn't look like they'd stand a chance. Yeah, Orton is a bad ass and all, but Rhodes and DiBiase would look like fools standing up against HBK, HHH and Nash.

Reminds me of wcw rehasing the nwo over and over and over. At least if the nwo were to begin again in wwe it would be somewht fresh, don't see that happenning though considering who they'd have to bring in to give it legitimacy.

Their feud with The Spirit Squad was 2 on 5 and they still seemed like the heavy favorites.

Spirit Squad never had the credibility of Legacy (although your point remains).

DX vs. Legacy, 2 on 3, would undermine Legacy in my opinion, but the WWE are stupid enough to go down that path anyways.

Anybody Thrilla 04-17-2009 01:50 PM

I'd argue that The Spirit Squad had as much credibility as Cody and Ted. Maybe not Randy, but the McMahons were backing them still.

The beauty about this, is that most people would probably feel the same way.....which is why it would be cool if Legacy could either go over HHH/HBK/Nash (I'm expecting a neg rep here from JamesSteele, Tedious or other Kliq members on here :p), or come very close to doing so.

The WWE's main goal right now should be to elevate Orton, Legacy in its entirety, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, MVP, and Matt Hardy (now that they've committed to him....at the expense of Jeff and CM Punk).

Well than I'd argue that you're a faggot Hindu....although granted, I don't watch much WWE programming nowadays and so I might be out of touch.

The spirit squad weren't worthy of going over guys like HHH/HBK, etc. because they didn't have any long term potential (atleast from we saw of their talent at the time).

Rhodes/Dibiase on the other hand, are being primed for major pushes in the not-so-distant future. It's clearly in the WWE's best interests to make these guys look ridiculously credibile and dangerous. Right now - they're being booked like pre-adolescent cock suckers.

Anybody Thrilla 04-17-2009 01:56 PM

I really would love to see Legacy start getting some good solid wins, but they've been made to look like a bunch of sucker bitches week in and week out to the point where I'm starting to lose interest in them. Earlier, I wanted to see what was going to happen next. Now, I can't wait for Triple H to get his "revenge" (that I feel he already had at Wrestlemania) and get this shit over with so Orton can move on to something different.

It looked like Kenny was going places for a minute there. What I'm saying, though, is that The Spirit Squad were the World Tag Team champions. Cody and Ted have been the same. On paper, they've acheived exactly the same thing. That's what I meant about the credibility of the two groups.

Batista03 04-19-2009 01:06 PM

If they keep the feud with Legacy going I would like to see a D-X feud but with a twist. I would like to see a D-X/Evolution grouping if just for a month or so. Triple H, HBK and Batista vs. Legacy. It would be like a D-Evolution or something like that. It would be a good balance and feud with Legacy since Randy has pissed each of the three off in the past and would be something that I would like to see imo.

Smokey 04-19-2009 01:08 PM

Road Dogg needs to be in new DX

Casey Jones 04-19-2009 08:11 PM

Triple H and Shawn Michaels are the biggest draws in wrestling right now when they fight together as DX. The crowd pops for them big time, and ratings are always higher as a result of DX.

I would like to see DX re-unite and have Triple H and HBK win both singles world titles as DX. It would tremendous for business, and I think the fans would get a kick out of seeing the two be champ simultaneously.

Anybody Thrilla 04-19-2009 08:37 PM

I would vomit furiously for a week straight if that happened.

Xero 04-19-2009 08:38 PM

I expect documentation of your eventual record-breaking vomit episode.

Casey Jones 04-19-2009 08:39 PM

Why? Also - even if you vommitted, most other fans would still love it.

Triple H and Shawn Michales, as world champs, could also invade Smackdown and piss them off. It's all about ratings and giving the fans what they want.

Mr. Nerfect 04-20-2009 09:30 AM

Not the biggest fan of the "new" DX.

As for Legacy, I would not be surprised to see Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase win the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship from The Colons soon...and then drop the belts to Triple H & Shawn Michaels.

XIII 04-20-2009 09:38 AM

it could be done nice... they might just do it for house shows and nothing with it on t.v.

You care to back that up with some proof?

Anyone can claim ratings go up for some reason, hell we all know Dolph ziggler is bringing in the biggest numbers since the Monday nights Wars. I said it so it must be true.

See how that works?
