WWE Match of the Week (4/13-4/17)
Draft week in the WWE brought us a lot of good matches this week, including Evan Bourne vs. John Morrison. Will John and Evan steal the show this week?

This will be a landslide victory. Morrison/Bourne will be an honorable mention for MOTY.

Who the hell is midLfinger?
Swagger vs Cena was good, but Morrison and Bourne was amazing
I don't think I need to explain myself here
Are we seriously gonna debate this one?
eh at least swagger-cena was good, if morrison-bourne didn't happen it'd be a nice pick
I was actually watching this week with this thread in mind and Cena/Swagger was definitely my pick on Monday. Then Tuesday rolled around and everything changed.
There were a ton of matches this week, btw.
That's probably the shocking thing...actual matches!
There is really no other choice. This was one of the easiest votes ever.
The obvious choice. Morrison and Bourne was the best TV match since HBK/Shelton, IMO.

Like what exactly do you wanna know? My real name? My a/s/l? Are you saying, "gimme your address?" |
a/s/l would be a good start. also, what do you think of WWE Superstar Edge?
Swagger and Cena was good, but no contest this week with Bourne and Morrison.

WWE Superstar Edge is, in my opinion, better than most wrestlers who are referred to as superstars. He has demonstrated to have a great match with just about anyone. His promo work is top notch. As a heel he is genius. As a face he's 'good enough.' Personally, I am of the opinion that his matches against Orton (particularly Vengeance 2004), Angle, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and RVD are his best singles matches. His tag work is a whole other facet of his in-ring brilliance. Whether teaming with Christian, Orton or Mysterio, his tag matches are main event worthy. He and Hogan not so much but that's not really his fault. The same can be said of his singles work with John Cena. It wasn't so great but it wasn't his fault. I do have interest in his Sex & Violence era (pre-WWE) and look forward to looking into it. Finally, he has one of WWE's best entrance themes. To keep this post topical: the battle royal he was involved in on Raw was, unfortunately, not good enough to be the match of the week. |
I'd say that's an adequate response.
