Fav vanilla big men

I was watching that Scott Norton vid on another post and it got me thinkin, who are some of your favorite guys who werent a main eventer but you were always like, here comes ____ hes gonna beat the crap out of someone.

I always liked Wrath in WCW. He still has one of the best pump handle slams in the business. Meng was also like that. The tongan death grip is still one of my favorite submissions. Someone who I liked, not for any reason in particular, was Bull Buchanan. He was always the add-on to someone (Bossman, Stevie Richards, Cena etc.) but he was deciently agile for his size, BOO YA!

Mr. Nerfect 04-21-2009 01:15 AM

Not a big man, but one of my favourite mark out moments is when William Regal confronted Ric Flair and Triple H about what they've done to Eugene. Had a real "Oh shit, you just pissed off a mean motherfucker, Triple H!" feel to it.

The Optimist 04-21-2009 01:15 AM

Yeah, while reading the first paragraph I was thinking of Kronik.

screech 04-21-2009 01:28 AM

Test was always one of those guys for me. Bull Buchanan was also one for me.

Destor 04-21-2009 01:30 AM

mike adamle 04-21-2009 02:03 AM

Xerzes 04-21-2009 02:47 AM

Snitsky when he still had hair.

sulzerdrone 04-21-2009 02:50 AM

Crash Holly. Hands down best superheavyweight ever.

Hornicane 04-21-2009 03:02 AM

Test and Tomko for me.

Jeritron 04-21-2009 04:03 AM

Ben Rodrigues 04-21-2009 06:19 AM

Does Earthquake count?

Bad Company 04-21-2009 06:43 AM

As soon as I saw the thread title, Scott Norton and Hugh Morris came to mind.

Dave Youell 04-21-2009 06:44 AM

Sid

Honestly, loved that man

Gertner 04-21-2009 07:33 AM

Norton was pretty sweet.

I used to mark out huge when Meng would come out and destroy somebody.

lashlley 81 04-21-2009 08:38 AM

guys like crush, wrath, norton, mike awesome, the big guys who could move and could beat the hell outta you never got the respect they deserved or a title run, they just got shit canned as a mid card jobber basicly, was bullshit....
then you got a guy like khali who is gigantic no question... but can barely even walk,, let alone take a nice bump or actualy do a wrestling move,he gets the world title??? he gotta be one of the shittiest workers in the last 10 years....unbelievable to me... then they just turn him into a joke and are probly waitin for his contract to run out... but thats my point, give him the belt and let him go in the history books of wrestling and not a hard worker who deserved it like awesome or norton or bryan clark,, bullshit... but look how huge some of them guys were in japan... norton was huge in japan...they fuckin loved him over there.....

I am ashamed that I forgot to mention Tomko

I miss that guy :(

Innovator 04-21-2009 11:40 AM

Norton, Tomko, Morgan in WWE

Rammsteinmad 04-21-2009 11:50 AM

Definitely Test!

Rammsteinmad 04-21-2009 11:52 AM

Also Meng! When he was against Norman Smiley in hardcore matches was always fun. Smiley would hit Meng, Meng would start some tongan language thing, then Smiley would run off screaming looking for more weapons.

Sounds crap, but at the time I use to laugh so much.

Nicky Fives 04-21-2009 01:30 PM

Meng, Test, Tomko

Triple Naitch 04-21-2009 01:40 PM

Mike Awesome or Ron Simmons

The Gold Standard 04-21-2009 01:57 PM

Snitsky enough said

Dorkchop 04-21-2009 02:08 PM

I liked Norton, but he wasn't around that much in WCW after like 98.

For a couple of months I liked Kozlov. I don't think I do anymore.

meng was pretty sweet because you knew he could probably kick the asses out of all of WCW's and WWF/E's rosters.

Dorkchop 04-21-2009 02:09 PM

Actually Scott Norton was one of my favorite guys to use in WCW vs nWo Revenge.

BigDaddyCool 04-21-2009 02:25 PM

Prince Albert/A-Train...thought he is more of french vanilla because his hair would be the vanilla bean pieces in the ice cream.

Anybody Thrilla 04-21-2009 05:12 PM

Mike Knox

mike adamle 04-21-2009 09:45 PM

Isaac Yankem, D.D.S.

FourFifty 04-21-2009 10:59 PM

Hugh Morris.

Mr. Nerfect 04-22-2009 01:08 AM

I remember when I first started watching, I'd mark out whenever some face was getting cornered and punked out by a large number of heels, and The APA's music would hit.

Not Booked 04-22-2009 06:07 AM

Kevin Nash :p
