Should Kozlov try a "Berlyn" gimmick?
 

So I was watching ECW earlier and I was wondering should they take Vladamir off the roster for a little bit and give him more of a Berlyn gimmick they could bring him back like this..

I go back and forth on Kozlov. Sometimes I think that he's not that horrible. He's got something oddly watchable about him. But generally, if he was released, I wouldn't give a flying fuck. There are so many people I'd rather see get pushed on ECW. Like, pretty much the entire roster save Mark Henry.

So you want to fix a guy with a gimmick of being a Russian monster by making him German?

Instead of giving him a "Berlyn" gimmick, they should just fire him and replace him with Berlyn.

Speaking of which, that hypen video is poor. I remember back when they were showing them, it made Berlyn to be the ultimate wrestling machine etc, that nobody could stop. But now I watch it and I'm like "lol god that's awful". The bit where his head is spinning around is cheesy.

Koslov should be put in a comedy tag team. There is only so far that a monster could go. If there was such a thing as a tag division, Koslov/Santino SERIOUS tag team would be the shit.

They should fire Vladimir Kozlov, and replace him with Alex Koslov. And bring in Alex Wright, just without the Berlyn gimmick.

I didn't think Kozlov's gimmick could get any worse. Until now...

He did a good job at helping out the Undertaker HBK match at Mania, but that is all he has done.

Alex Koslov is great.

What gimmick? he is just a Hoss from Russia. Works fine for me.

My problem is that he sucks in the ring, has a shitty finisher, and really has no push or storylines. The Guy beat jobbers, was in a few main events, and now is on ECW...So why would we care?

He's also back to beating jobbers in ECW. Is there heat on him? I can't think of any other reason for him to have to work his way up again.

Except that he sucks, but that goes without saying.

Wasn't he the guy who Vince loved and then they pulled him off TV a couple of years ago because he sucked?

Dunno if I got this right or not, but I think he was the "I love double double E" guy... that was Kozlov right?

Yes, he was. Well, I think it was actually the writers that pulled him, because they had a meeting once and said "This guy isn't ready." Vince then flipped out and said "If he isn't ready, why the fuck are we using him?" This freaked Stephanie McMahon out a bit, who was trying to push Daniel "Dan Rodman" Rodimer as her pet project at the time, despite him being far too green, as well.

Jerry Jarrett also brought Kozlov to the WWE's attention, I believe. I remember hearing that Jerry's relationship with TNA was damaged greatly because he chose to show Kozlov off to the WWE, instead of TNA.

Maybe Jerry was just trying to destroy the competition by giving them Kozlov?
