Saw a preview scene of it a while back, that featured snake eyes killing the shit out of a bunch of cobra troopers.

Was talk of them toning down the violence to market it to children more, but seeing as it's on adult swim I'm assuming that decision was scrapped?

Believe it. CC also delivers the speech of his animated career, explaining why he was such a bitch in the old cartoon (Resolute seems to be a spiritual sequel to the American Hero series, except it appears to have nixed the Cobra-La plot - erasing the DiC series from canon honorably).

What? That second series was crap, but how could they ret-con sgt. slaughter and serpeantor? COME ON.

This new incarnation is pretty ballsy.

But it doesn't matter how balls to the wall you are....Ally Vipers still can't shoot for shit.

I wish they would turn it into an on-going series but it won't happen.
I loved the way all the characters are portrayed and the updates they did to the costumes of some characters such as Gung Ho..
sad to see some of my favorites die though :-/ makes it more realistic though.
