Mike Awesome here. WCW ruined this guys life but he was truly great.

I liked Awesome in ECW, but I liked Tanaka better. Just an all round bad ass.

Tanaka, Mike was fun in ECW and Japan but overall I enjoyed Tanaka's work better.

Tanaka because he's the toughest, most indestructible badass I've ever seen.

Never really saw much of either.

Well, I saw Awesome in WCW and WWE, but those don't count.

Fat Chick Thriller FTW!!!

Not terribly familiar with either, but the few times I saw Masato Tanaka I was pretty impressed with his intensity and ability, whereas Mike Awesome never did thing one to make any kind of impression on me at all. Plus, his name sucked and the whole "70s Guy" thing in WCW made me want to vomit.

His WCW days weren't his best days, you have to see his Japan and ECW stuff. Russo I think ruined him to prove a point.

Tanaka gets the nod from me. Awesome had his moments in ECW though.
