I was reading about Chikara, and it blows my mind how anyone fan find this shit entertaining! What the hell is wrong with these people?

It's mostly a school which has a secondary function as a G-Rated promotion. I liken it to when an elementary school puts on a Shakespeare play. It's only a stage for students to practice what they learned. Apparently there are lot of freaks that enjoy it enough though.

Chikara is great. It's retarded and stupid and ridiculous but in that respect it's great. No-one there takes anything serious and as a result, it's just fun. Plus some of the matches are downright phenomenal!

I don't recall ever seeing a bear. Maybe that was pre-06 cause I haven't seen much of that.

It does however have (now and again) Dragon Dragon and CP Munk.

Know what's sad about this promotion? You may not have seen something like a bear in the ring but you'd believe it happened.

That was from the tag world grand prix from either 2005 or 2006. It was team ISW which consisted of Beef Wellington and the Bear.

Honestly, even if it's not for you, you've got to admire the different approach CHIKARA has to its characters and attitudes. I mean, it's hard to frown upon a promotion that is just so genuinely sunny.

They've also got some really good talent working for them.
