That Bats heel turn.

I didn't think much of it at first but the way end ending to the match played out at Backlash makes him the direct reason HHH lost the title. That doesn't seem like much but when combined with him taking himself out of the Shane-Orton match by getting DQ'ed and his laughably bad (read: late) run in on RAW last night, I could totally see him as a guy that trying to bring down the McMahon empire for his own purposes.

At first I figured he'd join Legacy, but he doesn't seem to fit in that group. He doesn't strike me as super coniving heel either, but I do think its what we're gonna get.

So I guess discuss the turn. Do you think it'll happen? How would you do it?

I don't think his heel turn will be anything earth-shattering, but at least it'll be a breathe of fresh air.

He'll get a title shot, HHH comes back and costs him the match, they begin a beat down. Something happens between them. That's as far as heel bats goes for me. no way is he joining The Legacy.

I imagine him losing, and just sort of snapping one night. Basically, it's less of a heel turn, and more of a "I'm going to fucking kill anything and everyone in my path" type thing.

I've been thinking for awhile now that Batista really needs to turn heel. Go back to his old music and his "kill everybody" attitude.

This might actually make me care about Batista again.

Yeah. That's the look he should have on his face all the time. Plus the music without the lyrics is waaaay more badass and does not lend itself to spazzing out and slapping himself on the chest.

Indeed. He looks much more...in shape there, too.

I'm actually hoping that we get Triple H as the Special Guest Referee at Judgment Day, which leads to Triple H getting a measure of revenge against Batista for costing him the WWE Title at Backlash. Orton retains the title, and the seeds are really planted for Batista to have a reactionary turn against Triple H.

I don't know if it is necessarily a heel turn. It might be more like "Orton injured me, so let me put the title on him so I can get a title shot and HURT him." Like a game of Smear the Queer. You want to throw the ball to the guy you want to hurt the most.

Batista's going to start the WWE Universe of Violence...and wearing shitty tribal makeup on his face.
