Who is it that books wrestling legends for appearances?
For a few years now, I've heard/read from various famous folks, including pro legends that anytime a fan wants that person to go to their town for an autograph signing that instead of contacting them personally, that the best way in going about it is to contact the organizations themselves and try to pursue that organization into booking them.
My question is, what organizations are they talking about? In regards of wrestling, I assume they mean the local Indy wrestling's feds. But maybe not? Enlighten me please. And if you're gonna flame me or mock me, at least wait until after I get a real answer. That'll hurt me a lot more if you do that....honest. :'( |
I'd imagine the local promotions, so the promotions will see the demand for that guy and they will book the guy...providing him with work and therefore income.

Thank you James.

personally, I dislike the idea of enabling these guys.
I saw Tommy Rich wrestle a couple of years ago, it was honestly the saddest thing I've ever seen.... until I saw Jake Roberts wrestle a couple of months later. |
I actually had more of an autograph signing in mind. Two companies have already said "Maybe", but I'm honestly not holding out much hope.

If you are just looking for autographs, then try and find a convention that is close to you. I think there are more conventions than promotions nowadays.

There are no specific 'routes'. Indy guys will take money from wherever and whoever will give it to them
|
And in some cases, will take crack or other assorted drugs from wherever or whomever.
