WOO WOO! Will the Elijah Express make a stop off at TNA?

From PWInsider:

Jeremy Borash posted on his twitter account that Elijah Burke was backstage visiting at the TNA Impact taping in Orlando, Florida.

I know Burke had some conversations awhile back with TNA's Terry Taylor about potentially coming in, but I haven't heard he's on the way in.

Mercury Bullet 05-06-2009 03:24 PM

I hope so, Burke is the goods :y:

Still probably won't watch TNA though.

KIRA 05-06-2009 04:02 PM

WWE promoters should be kicked in their collective ballsacks for releasing a talent like Burke but allowing dead weight like koslov a man who will only intrest me if hes repackaged to resemble Zangief (complete with signature moves and poses) ring time and unintelligible promo time.

Nicky Fives 05-06-2009 04:15 PM

ELIJAH IS THE SHIT!!!!!

DAMN iNATOR 05-06-2009 04:24 PM

Couldn't care less what that snoozefest does anymore.

KIRA 05-06-2009 04:28 PM

The only complaint I have about Burke is I think his finisher is lame he needs something devastating and he can make that running knees thing a regular move

Let me rephrase that not to say it wouldn't hurt like 3 hells but what I meant is it dosent really stack up to moves like the RKO or the pedigree etc, Its an ok move but hardly memorable yknow what I mean?

The One 05-06-2009 05:30 PM

Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Express

The greatest Tag Team that never existed. :'( I might pop on TNA to see how Elijah does and what they do with him...and maybe I'll get lucky and hit their "Once in Every 13 Shows it's Pretty Decent" episode.

TOVO Fact: Tovo hates people who wear white socks with dark shoes. It looks tacky people!

erickman 05-06-2009 05:47 PM

i am suprised he did not go to tna 3 months ago, since he was with so cal val. he can have the same role he had in ecw head of the young wrestlers disrespecting the old guys let him join with the mmg's.

Rammsteinmad 05-06-2009 05:57 PM

Burke to TNA :y:

Mooияakeя™ 05-06-2009 06:03 PM

You wanna know how much I rate that sonna bitch? I will fucking start watching TNA if he is on their show. That's the power Burke has.

Outsider 05-06-2009 08:18 PM

There is no reason to think he'd turn the company around, but would be a nice addition to their roster. Far better than most of the WWE rejects they pick up.

jony lions 05-07-2009 10:48 AM

TOVO FACT:YOU FUCKIN SUCK DONKEY BALLS

XL 05-07-2009 12:58 PM

What makes you think TNA will do anything worthwhile with him?

I like the guy and was shocked that WWE let him go but come on, TNA don't exactly have a great reputation for using talent correctly. He'll be packaged with Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed before he can utter '4-UP'.

I don't see anyone who has said that, maybe I'm wrong but I did read the thread, but could of missed something. I AIN'T READING IT TWICE.

I see people who have said we're going to watch TNA as it is a good pick up and we're all just waiting to see what happens. That is Da Elijah Effekt.

Fucking love that guy.

I have not seen this move but it sounds like the busaikyo knee. If he does it anything like KENTA then you are whacked out on goofballs and he doesn't need to change anything. If not, he just needs to do it like KENTA.

Mr. Nerfect 05-07-2009 05:22 PM

Truthfully, I hope Elijah Burke does not sign with TNA. I dunno, I just see it being a mess if he does. His style doesn't really fit the X-Division, and he's not really a main eventer. Unless they put him after the Legends Title, I can't see anything but a tag team run in Burke's future. Granted, that could be kind of cool, but mmm.

I just wish the WWE would re-sign the guy. One of their worst releases ever, if you ask me.

KIRA 05-07-2009 07:34 PM

The KENTA knee is awesome but this is the Elijah Express <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XRXqFooA9WI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XRXqFooA9WI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I didnt even think about the idea of him changing it to KENTA's knee that would rock

Yet another bad choice for release. Murdoch had such an old school feel about him both in terms of look and style plus he was good on the mic.

Oh sorry. One WOO too long for the title. :shifty:

Well what's worse- White socks and boots or socks and sandals?

Mr. Nerfect 05-09-2009 02:30 AM

Trevor Murdoch's release didn't really bother me. A deceptively good talent, but not someone that I was particularly drawn to. I always thought Lance Cade was the better talent.

Smokey 05-09-2009 02:35 PM

My boy Elijah gonna do big things in TNA

Lux 05-09-2009 09:21 PM

It really bothers me that you need to act so black

I mean do you really need to stress your race with the term "my boy"

Smokey 05-09-2009 11:48 PM

I am terribly sorry for offending you. Perhaps if I spoke more eloquently, or more "white" as it has been deemed, you would not be as troubled by what I have to say. After all, too many "niggers" will drive people away from the forums.

or I could just be myself and you can shutthefuckup

Lux 05-10-2009 01:48 AM

Umm shutthefuckup is four words.

I'm just fucking with you, chill.

You're not black, just a John Cena mark. Every post I read reaks of you trying to sound black.

Wait a second. :shifty:

You're not a Cena mark... You ARE Cena...

Or maybe he is Elijah's dad.

My Boy - i.e. his son and his whole being on here is him gauging a reaction to who likes his son. I started a thread a few weeks back on appreciating Burke and now he is in TNA. I mean... It's more cred than him being Cena. :-\

None of the above - He just really speaks like that, black or not. Or is that too controversial? :shifty:

The plot thickens! All this sleuthing is giving me a raging clue...

Wait a second...

His user name is smokey...

Smokey, like bacon. Bacon, as we both know, comes from a pig. A Pig is also a slang word for a cop. Cop shows are show on TV late a night. What else is seen only late at night? Vampires.

Smokey is a vampire!

You can drop the ghetto slang, Mister! Moonraker and I have shown the whole board who you really are, you blood sucking night stalker!!!
